    Default Corliss Williamson retires....

Did most of his damage with the Pistons, winning 6th man of the year in 2002 and his only NBA title in 2004. Also an NCAA champion with Arkansas in 1994.

He got the nickname "scoreless,' although that was nothing more than a play on words, because he rarely had trouble scoring.

I have to admit, I thought he had a couple years left in the tank, but oh well. He had a damn good career.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

    Division Champions 1955, 1956, 1988, 1989, 1990, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008
    Conference Champions 1955, 1956, 1988, 2005
    NBA Champions 1989, 1990, 2004

I thought the trade to Philly hurt the Pistons more than help them.

He was another guy who played his best while being coached by Rick Carlisle.

    I'd say Norm Richardson.

Dude is a legend down here in the A state. Has done a lot in several Arkansas communities - just a quality guy in general. Beast in college - made money and won a championship in the League - retired at age 33. Not a bad life so far, I'd say...
    The NBA ... it's fannnnnnnnn-tastic! I LOVE this game!

Corliss Williamson and his game is a pretty good comparison to how I view Ike Diogu as a player. Smaller than average power forwards who played very well offensively with their back to the basket, both strong physically, both much better offensively than defensively. I would suspect Ike will have a similar long term career as the "big nasty" had in the league.

I think you're talking about NOLAN Richardson. Not the infamous Norm Richardson in the Artest/Miller trade.
