Plenty of problems to be addressed after the game.

Adam just missed one like Vandy.

Keep giving them chances, they sure won't use them to their advantage...

Rushing gives us pretty good field position. Titans won't get the ball back IMO.

The Titans always play us real tough. They gave us every ounce that they had, and we still escaped. On the road against a team that is gunning for your head, you are always happy to escape with a win.

An absolutely atrocious game. Just awful.

Too many penalties, not taking advantage of offensive opportunities.

How many false starts did we have in this game?

A wins a win but this isn't how the Colts should be playing. I'd expect something like this last season.

What the hell was Manning thinking trying to throw the ball twice in that situation. Give the freaking ball to Addai, run the clock down, and force them to use your timeouts. At very worst, you get a field goal with hardly anytime left for Tennessee to do anything. That was ridiculous. We didn't deserve to win that game with that pathetic play calling at the end, but i'll take the win regardless.

Would you have said that if the Colts scored a touchdown

I would have said that it was freaking stupid. Especially going for Harrison in the endzone on the second down. I was screaming at the TV. You're up by 2 points. You have the first down. They only have 2 time outs left. Give the ball to Addai 3 straight times, and at the very worst you drain about 40 points off of the clock. With Addai, you can even get the first down and keep draining the clock more.

If you keep handing it off to Addai in that situation, you get a field goal at the very worst to put you up 25-20. Tennesee would have had no timeouts left because they would have been forced to use them as you kept handing it to Addai, and 40 seconds would have been burned off the clock at worst.

So basically, they would have been deep in their own territory and forced to score a touchdown.

Absolutely un-freaking-excusable that you go for the endzone in that situation. I don't care how good you are. You gotta just put the game away at that point. Look, we all love Peyton. But he has the tendency to want to force the throw. He got it last year that he didnt have to force the throw all the time, and trusted the run more than he ever had in his career.

That's pretty much why we lost to PItt a couple years ago. I mean, Pitt played a great game and deserved to win, but the refusal to give hte ball to James enough in the first half probably cost us a Super Bowl.

Adam, I understand what you are saying and I thought they would and should run the ball, but Manning made two bad passes both to Harrison who was open both times. I guess with Manning I'm willing to give him a very long rope in which to work. He usually completes the passes.

Harrison wasn't open when they went for the endzone. The ball was actually almost intercepted, the Titans defender just couldn't hold it.

I too will give Manning a long rope. But there are just certain situations in football where you just have to put the game away. The Colts by just handing it to Addai in that situation, draining points off the clock, getting the field goal...and forcing Ten. to score a TD deep within their own territory (with no timeouts left) would have all but guaranteed the victory.

Again, I'll take 2-0 like everyone else. But we did not deserve to win that game.

agreed with the stupidity of going endzone on 2nd down.

The guy was covered, manning should have seen that and taken a check down to keep the clock moving.
