I've pre-ordered the DVD mentioned at the top, and I will definitely get the Colts-equivalent "Road to Super Bowl XLI" DVD set.

ive got a bunch of the original Indianapolis star papers on ebay. The AFC Championship victory newspaper (the Monday after beating New England) as well as the Monday after the super bowl victory, as well as the night we won the super bowl. the paper that was released the night we won the super bowl was super hard to find but i was lucky enough to run up on a bunch of them

This was slightly confusing. Are these DVDs the same, or different? They both seem to have the NFL logo on it, suggesting they're both produced by their people. Why would they make two? Is one the real cover, and the other a "temp" cover?

    I ordered this through amazon:

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...659964-7096944

But I see this one too:

    http://shop.sportingnews.com/NFL_Ind...al_Edition_DVD

The second cover is much better IMO.

Are they the same thing or two different DVDs?

they are indeed the same, what the 2nd one is was a temp image that was on just about all online retailers until they knew who won the game. The first one is the "final" version of the dvd cover.

The Amazon one is the final? Blech. I like the other one better.

    Thanks for clearing that up!

I plan to get the DVD, but will probably wait until it hits the local Best Buy or something.

Right now I have the late Sunday and Monday and Tuesday newspapers, a t-shirt, and a hat.

Just to let you know on the RATS board there is a poster named vabeachguy who has a 20 DVD set - every regular seson game, playoff games, Super Bowl post game celebration, follow-up shows and an audio only option for $85.00.

I ordered the Sports Illustrated Colts Super Bowl Package: DVD, some type of bound Colts Book and a Super Bowl XLI Football. 6-10 weeks for shipping.

I bought to different Colts XLI T-Shirts.

I'll buy the road to the Super Bowl Package if it comes out.

I'm still holding off on stuff other than the hat, shirt, and DVD, but I'm tempted to get a magazine or two, and maybe a sweatshirt. I'll decide after I budget everything out next weekend.

, the regular and commemorative SI's,
Just don't ask the man with the laser rocket arm to sign them. He'll do the Super Bowl program, but will turn the SI almost everytime.

Does it have something to do with the Michael Silver writing where he says that some teammates critizesed Manning. I heard that somewhere. Haven't read it since we do not gee SI in Germany.
Well, as for the stuff: 2 T-Shirts, hat, Hoody, mug, towel, socks, dvd, SB program.

    Take care

No, actually has to do with Manning having several contracts that do not allow him to sign certain things. Normally the item has to be licensed by NFL Properties before he can sign. The exception to this is an OFFICIAL NFL game football which he will not sign for fans. He'll sign the $40 dollar replica or white leather with the sweet spot type, but not the real thing. He'll sign the real game balls for the NFL or Colts to auction off for charities.

Strange but he's hit or miss on jerseys. Of course it needs to be Reebok and he absolutely hates to be asked to sign one someone is wearing. The man simply does not feel comfortable doing that.

On a side note. For the rare Marvin Harrison signing he'll sign a licensed card, mini-helmet, or hat. He will not sign the 8x10 glossy photos. No clue why, but with Marvin how would you know?
