I'll give a 6th or 7th round pick for him. I like Sorgi and all, but I would rather have Leftwich as a backup. He can just sit on our bench for cheap and get healthy

He will be a great pickup for anyone who snags him. The Jags are giving up on him too soon.

I don't even any really needs him right now. No one seems to need a quarterback at the moment besides Kansas City and Atlanta.

I've been a tough critic of his, but he can still succeed if he placed in a good situation. His mechanics and footwook are atrocious and he still needs to adjust his game to running other formations other than the shotgun. That's why he needs to go back up a vested veteran on a playoff caliber team for a season, so he can work on his game and won't be set up to fail if he has to play...

if he's not traded, i would think he could be more interested in your scenario. but tradewise i would think that with the lions and falcons having kitna and harrington leading the charge that teams would be interested in getting a guy like BL - especially detroit with a guy like mike martz running the offense.
    This is the darkest timeline.

Kitna isn't bad. He'll probably do pretty well under Martz himself. Of course Atlanta could use him b/c Harrington isn't the answer.

I think Minnesota could use him. Not sure about Jackson there... but who knows.

KC likes Huard and Croyle, but Leftwich could fit there.

Even Miami b/c after Trent Green... no one.

Houston will probably wait on Schaub.

Chicago seems to feel good about Grossman.

Alex Smith seems to be coming around for SF

I'm sure a team will take a shot, or maybe just bring him in for insurance, but Leftwich should get a solid situation somewhere

I bet he lands on the Falcons or a sleeper place could be the Bears.

I don't think he even gets a job this season. Next year he'll be somewhere though.
