OMG, it was a 1-game series? Why did nobody tell me this!

Shock losing game 1 on the road=season over

Fever losing game 1 on the road= ready to run the table

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

I don't think it's too much of a stretch, seeing as how the Fever lost a close game in triple OT to a higher seed and nemesis, while the Shock got absolutely stomped.

    We'll see what happens.

Is Game 3 at Conseco or not? Did they change the format?

The game last night restored a little bit of faith in them overcoming the Suns. It's not going to be easy though. Katie Douglas is due.

Looks like I'm the only one here but I will say it anyway. We dodged two MAJOR bullets in this one. Down 22 - come back. Huge, huge mistake at the end of regulation.

But what can you say - we won

I was going crazy when Sam threw it away and then Connecticut made a 3 for the tie.

Good thing She held on in OT!!

No. It doesn't compare...at all. Nothing can compare to the wondeful feeling of beating the Pats

    Connecticut was your nemesis?

What does that make the team that swept you out of the playoffs last season, your mortal enemy?

If it makes you feel better, I have no problem with repeating the performance against Detroit.

Well, Kstat the Fever hadn't beaten CT at all this year. They've beaten Detroit twice so far.

So...the monkey on our back has been CT for years, not Detroit. It's not a comment on relative team talent, it's a comment on history.

Detroit is obviously a talented team, but CT had our number - they were in our heads. Thus the nemesis comment applies much more to CT than to Detroit.
