Everybody that picks TJ Houshmanzadeh has to say "Championship" after they pick him, right?

I won the champ-ion-ship last year after I traded for him. I was dead in the water before that.

Dude, omg! It's not just Championship! It's "Champ-ion-ship"

The banana guy or the pepper have to be added as well. It was a good commercial though.

Well, I drafted them both really high. I think one reason LJ was left after I picked Gore is because people were afraid that he would sit out games this year because of his contract dispute.
    You need a new league.

My draft is this week and our rosters look like this:

QB, WR, WR, RB, TE, W/R, K, DEF, D, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN

Last year the same league had crazy rosters with 2 qb's, r rb's and 2 WR + the normal stuff. I won the title afte drafting LT 3rd, yeah, 3rd. I also traded for Colston, Yahoo TE gift, picked up Romo later, and then used my bench spots to keep decent players away from other people. Heck, Ron Dayne even helped me come playoff time.

If I can win in that crazy situation, this one should be easier to handle. I do hope I get LT again though....

I'll post my team on Sunday.

I agree. Contract or not, that dude will be playing in the final weeks of any fantasy season when you need him most. My main league is 3 keeper so naturally he's off the board by a mile.

Going into the draft my keepers were:
    Addai, Westbrook, Steve Smith

Points for REC (thus West as the mack) and bonuses for long TDs and yardage milestones (like 150 RecYds, thus Smith as the mack).

Q, R, W, W, R/W, TE, K, DEF...which I like because it makes WR a bit more important. I hate the R, R, W, W, R/W leagues with guys starting 3 RBs. Too much weight on RBs for my taste.

    Here it is:

    QB: Rivers
    RB: T. Jones
    WR:M. Harrison, Roy Williams
    TE: Cooley
    Flex: R. Bush
    Def. Vikings
    K: Gould
    IDP: Briggs
Bench: V. Jackson WR, Berrian, Alex Smith, D. Henderson WR N.O., Keven Jones RB, Chris Henry RB Tenn.

I was picking in the 11th spot of a 12 team draft, so I took Harrison & Bush with my first 2 picks. I'm happy with my team for now. If K. Jones and Henry end up starting, I will have some nice trade bait.

All right guys, I'm going to post my team as well as my competitors'. Tell me which you think is the best...

Mine: Palmer, Brady, Holt, Owens, Wayne, Colston, Fitzgerald, Stephen Jackson, Larry Johnson, Addai, Travis Henry, Adrian Peterson, Kaeding, Dallas, Philly.

Competitor 1: P Manning, Romo, Steve Smith, Housh, Boldin, Gates, T Gonzalez, Alexander, Westbrook, R Bush, Maroney, Vinateiri, Rackers, Chicago, New England

Competitor 2: Brees, Bulger, Harrison, Chad Johnson, Moss, Roy Williams, Burress, LT, Gore, Rudi J, Benson, Gould, Wilkins, Baltimore, Miami

Also, in Week 1 I'm starting Addai, but should I start Wayne or Colston (or Fitz, who goes against Clements of SF)?
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

Uhhh...are there only three of you? Because if not, the other teams got shafted!

Team #2 has the best team then you IMO.

Okay, after my draft, 12 team, 3 keepers per team, NO SNAKE. I came in 2nd last year so I got the 11th, 23rd, 35th, etc pick, in other words it was rough.

    Lienart, Trent Green

Westbrook (keep), Addai (keep), Jacobs, C Brown

S Smith (keep), Driver, Vincent Jackson, Horn, A Gonzo (colts), Muhammad

D Clark (homer pick), E Johnson

    Elam - Eagles D

I got Rivers and Cutler swiped before I had a chance, partially because I decided to grab Jacobs. Again, it's a keeper league and he's a big, strong young RB. But it was a risk since I had 2 solid RBs and you can go 3 WR/1RB if need be. I'm strong at RB but thin everywhere else, also counting too much on Lienart to come through. Hated getting into that spot.

Just in case Addai doesn't pan I have Jacobs as a 2nd chance for a RB keeper, plus Jackson and even Anthony G could worm into a possible keeper spot depending on Smith's health.

BTW, speaking of Jackson, according to CBS he's owned in LESS leagues than Muhammad (QB is Rex) and Horn (QB is ?/Harrington). Go figure.

FWIW I think Leinart is the sleeper of fantasy this year. He has more weapons than any QB not named Peyton Manning. James, Boldin, and Fitz. If that O-Line can protect him at all I think he'll give you 25-30 TDs and only 10-12 picks.

There was a 4th team, but that person was a broncos fan and drafted their entire team....poor guy

And I think team 2 has a better paper team. Harrison and Chad have many balls taken away by Housh and Wayne, Moss isn't proven, and isnt likely to get great numbers with NE's system (they do like to spread it around), Burress and Williams are very much dependent on their QBs, who aren't always reliable (but they could be good). But that team could be very good. *shrug*

Your team looks pretty strong except at the wideout spot where, after S. Moss they all have question marks. If R Moss and either MM or JG get hot you shuld be ok. Word from down here is that Glenn is hurting.

I hadn't played FF for several years. I used to win regularly, but uh ... I don't keep track as well as I used to. Any input would be appreciated.

    QBs

    Ben Rothelisburger
    Jason Campbell
    Alex Smith

I expect Ben to do well, last year was just messed up for the guy, and they're supposedly gonna let him throw it deep this year.

    RBs

    Rudi Johnson
    Willie Parker
    Willis McGahee
    Julius Jones
    LenDale White

    WRs

    Chris Chambers
    Santonio Holmes
    Braylon Edwards
    Mike Furrey

    TE

    Vernon Davis

    K

    Vinateri

    Def

    Here's my other team.

    10 Man league (1 qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, 1 rb/wr/te, 1 te, 1 k, 1 def)

    QB - D McNabb
RB - Larry Johnson / Edge / Ronnie Brown / Cadillac Williams / Lendale White
    WR - M Harrison / Boldin / Plaxico / Calvin Johnson / Isaac Bruce
TE - Alge Crumpler / Dallas Clark
    K - A Vinatieri / Hanson
    Def - Jets

I was the 6th pick. I'm dropping the Jets D and probably getting Vikings or Panthers. The computer picked the Jets for me.

QB's and WR's could be a little stronger. Everything else looks real good. But I would look for a better QB then the three you have. Big Ben MAY be alright, but they are a running team first.
