I've been to one like two years ago or something.

I remember they tried to copy Detroit.

The PA was like "Fe-vur Ba-skit-boll!"

    It sounded pretty bad.

The times Ive been to the Charlotte Sting games, my wife and I had fun.

The girls play hard. Most of them make virtually nothing compared to the guys and a lot of them have other jobs int he off season.

They appreciate what they have a lot more than the NBA guys. And they play like it means something to them.

I enjoy going to the WNBA games.

I usually go to about 2 or 3 games a season, but this year I've just been too busy/worn out to go. The times I go, I usually enjoy the games.

Women's Foreign Basketball players tend to make a lot more money overseas, a lot play in Russia and Israel especially.

I haven't heard of the WNBA having a tough time attracting talent due to these issues yet, but if women's basketball ever globalizes like the men's game has, then the WNBA will be in real trouble.

A lot of the WNBA players (American and foreign) play in Europe during the off season. There's a theory that Anna DeForge went from 3rd to 1st in the All-Star Balloting for her position because of a last minute push by people in Poland voting for her because she plays for their team in the off season.

I went to a WNBA game about 8 years ago. I went because my daughters wanted to go see it.

I would never go again. Why? I didn't feel comfortable being in an arena with so much overt lesbianism on display.

I've never attended a WNBA game because I don't live in a metro area that hosts a WNBA team. I live in northern AL. The two cities closest to me w/WNBA teams are Houston, TX and Indy. The closest I come to catching a woman's baseketball game is either watching one on TV or seeing the Tennessee Lady Vols play. They're good, but ...

I always try to get to a Fever, Colts and Pacers game at least one time each year. Of all three I enjoy the Fever games the most. I am not saying that the other 2 are not good, but you can get much better seats at a real nice price. The basketball is more fundamental oriented and the atmosphere is lighter with one of the Fever players coming up the few rows to give my 3 year old daughter a hug. A very enjoyable experience always.

I've been to a couple of Silver Stars games down here when I've recieved free tickets. It is what it is. They are doing well this year, so I may try to get the wife to go. We are just so busy that it has to be a week end thing and we usually have other options.

I would probably pick AA baseball over it if I had to choose though.
