WIBC is playing the interview right now

I also heard a great interview of mark Boyle that I guess took place last week but they replayed it tonight

Trade Foster for a 2nd rounder?

Foster would at least MAKE every team in the NBA. The same can be said for what, 20%? of 2nd rounders.

I don't want another unproven player from Europe on this team for at least a decade. For every Dirk and Parker there is a Tskitishvili, Sarunas, Brezec etc.
Hey now, don't be lumping in Peanut Butter with those yahoos. Primoz ain't a star, or even a good starter, but he can play and be productive.

As for Belinelli, Grace asked me about him today, and I said, "I don't know, but Kstat likes him, and he was the original Cabbage-hater, a year before we even got the guy."

Of course, he could just be ****ing with us in the hopes that Larry will pull a Danny Ainge and listen to the fans.

Bird, "We will get a shooter - one of the best in the league"

Wow, he sounds pretty sure about that

I was about ready to post this UB.

But to be honest, I don't care to much if we don't have Jermaine. But we do need shooting I guess either way.

Was he talking about the draft when he said that? As in "we will get a shooter who will soon be one of the best in the league"? Or did he mean someone in the league now? I hope it's Michael Redd.

No not really. We need someone who can shoot AND play defense.

    Great. Peja is coming back.

Why do the things that we treasure most, slip away in time
Till to the music we grow deaf, to God's beauty blind
Why do the things that connect us slowly pull us apart?
Till we fall away in our own darkness, a stranger to our own hearts
And life itself, rushing over me
Life itself, the wind in black elms,
Life itself in your heart and in your eyes, I can't make it without you

and he can't be talking about a FA yet at this time, b/c wouldn't that be considered tampering, right? b/c FA are not open game till the 1st, right?

That would be funny, and is who actually came immediately to mind when I read that.

Bird is sure putting his balls in a vice right now, guaranteeing we'll get a great shooter and a draft pick.

I don't think it matters since he didn't name any certain player.

For the first time in months, I was in a thread when it was actually relevant.

He didn't guarantee a draft pick. He estimated their chances at 50/50....
