Default Tank Johnson pulled over for speeding

    And possibly being impaired.

Between Henry, PacMan and Tank I think you could combine their collective IQ and still fall short of the intelligence level of a rock.

He can't stay out of trouble.
Why do the things that we treasure most, slip away in time
Till to the music we grow deaf, to God's beauty blind
Why do the things that connect us slowly pull us apart?
Till we fall away in our own darkness, a stranger to our own hearts
And life itself, rushing over me
Life itself, the wind in black elms,
Life itself in your heart and in your eyes, I can't make it without you

This is beginning to become humorous. Henry still needs to do something stupid though. Hes gone a while without being in trouble considering they found out the kid was lying about the assault.

I actually thought Tank could possibly change after this, he was up on the podium before his suspension talking about how someday he wanted to be the NFL Man of the Year, and be a great come back story.

If this is true then that is seemingly all down the toilet.

I think Tank's PR firm might have written him a nice speach about becoming NFL man of year.

I wouldn't give it any credibility, though.

Actions speak louder than words. The story of his friend's/ bodyguard's murder right after they were both busted for guns and drugs is just wacky.

The 2002-2006 Pacers would've been a safe haven for Tank, though.

Credit to the NFL for trying to stop some of this nonsense.

They were *this* close to cutting him back in the winter, but there was a lot of "innocent until proven guilty" outcry. The Bears have been trying to distance themselves from Tank for a long time and were just waiting for something, no matter how small.

I think the Indiana Pacers have been thier blueprint for "how not to deal with offcourt/ offfield distractions."

You want the Pacers to be like the Bears with offcourt incidents, yet you're an advocate for keeping Tinsley?

This is why the NBA needs no guaranteed contracts. Rest assured Johnson would still be a Bear under the NBA CBA.

He was Tanked for eight games by new Commish, and then got pulled over for being slightly Tanked. Now he's been cut, and he's left holding his Johnson. I'd say they gave this guy the perfect name."

The Bears tried to take the "put him on the inactive list" after his arrests last December, and they didn't allow him to play in the last two games (if memory serves correctly.)

Jerry Angelo wanted to leave him on the inactive list for the playoffs and release him after the season ended, but Lovie Smith lobbied to have him on the active roster. Also, the Bears were getting some "innocent until proven guilty" flack, and since we're talking about Da Bears it was the ONLY topic of conversation around here for a couple of weeks, and a number of fans of Da Bears didn't think he was worthy of wearing Da Uniform.

And, of course, since he was on house arrest he needed a court order to go to Miami.
