I must be the only one who follows the directions - because I truly did "ignore that thread"

I have to vote for the trade thread - I don't think it is even close

Well, I voted for Tbird for post, thinking that I'd vote for Ask Jermaniac here (RIP Dat Dude). But since I can't, I'll vote for the trade thread.

They are all great,, but when a thread entitled "ignore this thread" is nominated for thread of the year, how can you not vote for it....

I'll go with the trade thread just because its hilarious to go back and read the optimism.

    Stingray!

    Stingray!
Why do the things that we treasure most, slip away in time
Till to the music we grow deaf, to God's beauty blind
Why do the things that connect us slowly pull us apart?
Till we fall away in our own darkness, a stranger to our own hearts
And life itself, rushing over me
Life itself, the wind in black elms,
Life itself in your heart and in your eyes, I can't make it without you

If I ignore the "ignore this thread" vote, it will cease everything that I have stood for since "ignore this thread" came to be. I shall vote for it, so even more people don't ignore that thread!

I have to vote for "Ignore" as well because it ALMOST filled a 2nd request, the "Saras lost on defense" post. Unfortunately that link is to my attempt to upload it to Able Towers, which never got done correctly.

We're gonna need a last-day push to get Ignore the win.

Come on now, PD, Ignore the Vote

Whoops, my bad. Can't believe I didn't pay attention until too late.

Would have been hard, though. For spur-of-the-moment jocularity, you've gotta go with the Stingrays. Ignore this thread, though, seems to have staying power.

Screw tbird. He already won one.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

Yep, brilliant, especially in hindsight. Of course one issue might be would Al buy into that... but then I saw him on the GS bench during round 1 last year.

Right now you could have Al's 44% and Jack's 33% from 3 instead of Murphs 40% and Dun's 29%, and on top of that we saw how inspired Jack could play on defense when given a green light at the other end (including seeing his asssits go up in the higher tempo).

Right now those guys on this team with JOB coming in actually makes more sense. And even if you wanted them gone still you would be talking about 2 contracts that are a lot more reasonable for deals. How easy would it be to deal JO right now if you knew you had Al at the PF if you did that?

Heck, you might send Al to LA instead and get Bynum due to his cheaper contract.

I would have loved to see Jack and Al here with O'Brien. With or without JO.
