my fear is they take Morris Almond (since I want him at 19 if we get the pick from the Lakers), so I went with Splitter.

I'm completely with you on this.......O want Almond. But I don't see the Warriors taking another Guard...much less SG......unless they intend to move JRich. Besides....the need an athletic Big man that can score and rebound.

Splitter is still contemplating playing overseas another year, even if drafted, so it'll be interested to see who selects him and Rudy (who has to be bought out and may prefer to stay overseas as well)

I'm curious how many of those who chose Tiago Splitter have actually seen the guy playing, or know him only from spots and commentaries. Just curious ... Cause I really doubt he's NBA material. Or that he will ever worth a spot in a NBA team ... Even though I do know Warriors are quite slim in the post.

Mullin is trying pretty damn hard to move into the top 10 and secure Yi Jianlian.

But if that does not happen, I could see Sean Williams as a viable option at #18.

I haven't seen much of him, and I doubt many here have, but the vast majority of scouts have concluded that he's a mid-1st round talent. We're in the mid-1st and the Warriors need a big man, so that's why he's winning the poll. He may end up a bust, but going by what we know, outside of maybe McRoberts there's not a more logical choice.

I can't see Sean Williams. They already have one cancerous felon in Stephen Jackson. That's more than enough for any team. He and Stephen Jackson would also be the worst rebounding SF/PF duo in the league by far. Too much to risk for the Warriors imo.

Williams is a solid rebounder with all the tools necessary to grab more boards than Al Harrington ever dreamed of.

Who is this Stephen Jackson you speak of? I ain't familiar with the person you described.

i said javaris... the weakest part of their team is probably PG because of baron's injury history and then monte's impending free agency. i'm not saying it is especially weak, i'm saying its the biggest hole on their team i can find. the rest of the team are solid developing parts, in most cases two-deep.
    This is the darkest timeline.
