This is an embarassment to the EC right now. Honestly I'd rather have the Pistons in there, because if they didn't play complacent, they'd at least put up a fight.
I almost always root for the EC team no matter what.
Plus, I am ****ing tired of hearing how hot Eva Longoria is. And I do acknowledge that she is pretty hot, but wasn't she the side story of like, the 2004 Finals? And we have to hear about her again? Is this really all the NBA has?
Second of all, is everyone forgetting the Cavs were down 0-2 to the Pistons. We all know how good Cleveland plays at home.
Yeah but Detroit trailed a lot in both of those first two games and squeaked out a pair of 3 point victories. In those cases, you could see that Cleveland was playing very competitively with them and could still have some hope. San Antonio is just too much for the Cleveland right now. Neither game has been all that close.
I'll be surprised if the Cavs win more than one game in this series.
BTW, for all the griping about JO that goes on around here in terms of low post play and how the ball goes through him, the Spurs do the exact same thing. The difference is that guys OFF THE BALL freaking move and space in order to force the defense to do something, which in turn creates passing opportunities for Duncan to kick out (or in if its the high post).
But Duncan touches the ball basically every single trip. Last year in defense of JO I went through a whole Tivo of a game and JO didn't even TOUCH the ball half the time. I don't mean shot, I mean ball in hands kinda touch.
It's not that Rick was slow-down, it's that the rest of the team went deer-in-headlights whenever JO touched it.
Also it wouldn't hurt if Tinsley could score the ball as well as Parker. The moves he makes, the types of plays and shots he runs are identical IMO. But when the jumper or layup goes up from TP it goes in at a nice rate instead of some horrid 40% thing.
