Default Draft Express Ranks the SG's

    http://www.draftexpress.com/viewarticle.php?a=2101

It's a long article, so I'll only post the link.

    Morris Almond fairs very well.

I also didn't realize that David Teague was considered an NBA prospect.

Nick Young is the only guy on that list that gets me real excited. I'm surprised they have Stuckey as a PG.

Ron Lewis intrigues me as a second round pick especially in Obie's system.

Based on his profile (haven't read it in a couple of weeks) they didn't really - thought he should be able to catch on in Europe and maybe get to the NBA eventually.

i think we need to go after either of those top 2 guys, young is a little more proven i think... maybe i'm also worried about Runi Part Deux.

I have a hunch Rudy is gonna be a good one. He seems too young and too hyped up to be a failure. Everyone questioned Runi ahead of time, and they were right, but I'm not seeing nearly as much doubt in Rudy's game. I think of all the reasonable players at #19, he's my personal favorite even ahead of Acie Law.

Yeah....although I am concerned about drafting those Euro players.....it maybe difficult to compare any SG prospect that is in their early 20s to Sarunas...a guy that we signed at the age of 29 who was already slow as molasses.

This is David West, he is the Honey Badger, West just doesn't give a *****....he's pretty bad *ss cuz he has no regard for any other Player or Team whatsoever.

If we can get a mid-late 2nd round pick, we should have a look at Brad Newley, listed at #12 on the SG prospects. He is an Aussie, i've seen a fair bit of his play and think he could potentially be an NBA player.

Thought I think the best Aussie prospect will come out next season. Another SG/SF, Joe Ingles. Great shooter, good handle and a very smart player.

The latest Hoopshype mock doesn't even have Ron Lewis being drafted. If he's not, we should knock down his door and drag him to our camp.

I stumbled across an Al Harrington reference I thought I'd post:

    Projects as
A comparison to Warriors forward Al Harrington would be fair. Both enjoy playing from the perimeter, both are talented scorers, and both struggle defensively. The one area where [Jared] Dudley holds an advantage is in his passing game. Harrington is pretty much a black hole – the ball goes in but doesn't come out.

I just thought it was funny that someone outside this forum called him a black hole...but maybe it's just me. I know this has nothing to do with SG's or what not, but my vote is to take J-Dud at #19 (only because I was in a class with the guy, and he was a riot).

My only hesitation with Young is that I'm worried about Stephen Jackson Part Deux (playwise). But we could do worse.

I've probably seen him, but don't remember. Regardless, 6'6", 172lbs. sure sounds skinny to me.

well, I'm european, and we weight in kilos, so lbs doesnt say much to me. but anyway, Rudy isnt as slim as Reggie, thats for sure.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXAucLSrYv8&NR=1 thats basically dunks, but he has some range as well. if I could choose between him and Belinelli, I would take Rudy any time. btw, at the end of clip you can see Larry Bird watching this kid.

Well, I thought his arms sure looked skinny.

    172 lbs = 78 kgs

As I remember, Reggie was 6'7", 198 lbs (or 90 kgs).

Yeah, 6'6" and 178 is frighteningly skinny.

I was 6'6" and 180lbs in high school, and looking back on those pictures is like looking at a skeleton.

If that's his real weight, then the dude is quite thin.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

I recall Reggie being listed at 6'7" 185 early in his career and then 190 later on. I don't recall seeing 198. I believe Michael Jordan was listed at 6'6" 198 for most of his career though.

6'6" 172 is just ridiculously skinny. He's definitely gonna have to put on some weight. 10 pounds at least, although 15-25 would be more desirable.
