    Would you do this deal?

Jermaine Oneal to Phoenix for Shawn Marion, James Jones, and the top 2 of their 3 draft picks?

I was just thinking something similar to that.

I was thinking Marion, a sign-and-traded K.Thomas (if that's allowed), and their two lower picks (the best of the two is only in the 20's itself IIRC).

Yeah, they would probably do their lottery pick from Atlanta, or the 2 lower picks. Doubt we'd be lucky enough to get the lottery and the mid round pick. But it would be worth a shot.

    They're going to run a Jermaine-Amare frontcourt?
    This space for rent.

Um, I honestly think the Suns would turn us away if we came to them with a JO-for-Marion deal straight up.. let alone throwing in a solid role player and two draft picks in one of the deepest drafts ever..

Yeah, maybe it's just me but I always have felt that Shawn Marion is the Sun's second most important player, almost as important as Steve Nash.

They would be stupid to trade him.

Maybe something like Boris Diaw, Kurt Thomas, 1rst Round Draft Pick, maybe even Marcus Banks would probably be what the Suns would offer for Jermaine. Even then I really don't see why they would want him. Him and Amare would just slow them down and that means Marion would have to play the 3 full time, and he is much better at the 4.
