    Default what would it take

we probably have had a thread on this already. but what would it take to get into that top 3 (if we dont win lottery). would y'all be willing to part with JO and Granger/Williams. I think teams would jump on that. while i dont want to give up on either granger or williams, i think both will be very good players. and we still have tinsley to deal with. thoughts?

Granger and Williams are to young to part with.

If we did deal either of them it wouldn't be with Jermaine, it would be with Tinsley or Murphy, not Jermaine.

But I highly doubt Granger or Williams are dealt anytime soon.

Any team that gets 1 or 2 will not trade those picks unless the player on the other end being offered is of LeBron James-caliber.

Nothing Indiana has will bring in a top-2 pick.

#3 and on is another story.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

Kstat is right, especially this year.

Plus the salary cap situation wouldn't work

Unless the team you are trading with has a lot of bad contracts to give up or is way under the cap...any top draft pick in exchange for O'neal is nothing more then a pipe dream.

Bottom Line, the Pacers are not getting into the top 3 of this draft...Period!

Getting rid of Shawne and Danny would be counterproductive at this point. They're literally the only legitimate, young assets (maybe throw Ike into the mix as well, but I still ain't impressed by him yet) we have, so a trade would just throw more chaos into an already confusing rebuilding process.
