Does everyone realize the Pacers havn't been swept out of the playoffs since 1992 (3-0 loss to the Celtics). The Pacers have played 27 series since then and have never been sept. In fact they have never even lost a 7 game series 4-1.

That is remarkable and I doubt there is another team in the NBA who has played that many series and that hasn't been swept.
I don't think its THAT remarkable. We have obviously had our success, but unless you are a 7 or 8 seed you shouldn't be getting swept that often.

    Any predictions 4 tonight?

I think VC sends the Raptors packing and quiets the Raptor fans.

I think Dallas will pull it out over the Warriors and force a game 6, though I wouldn't be surprised if the game is close.

BTW, being swept isn't that common. The Bulls haven't been swept since 1987, off of memory.

Off the top of my head, that's 39 series since their last sweep.

Utah hasn't been swept since 1989. That's an even 30 series without being swept, I believe.

The Celtics have been swept TWICE. Ever, if I remember correctly, and both times came when they were a #8 seed.
Wow, you are comparing the Pacers franchise to the Celtics and Bulls - it must be even more remarkable than I first thought

I think that the Mavs will win.....but I don't think that the game will be that close...probably a win by 5 to 10 points. The reason is that although the Mavs are shaken...I think that this is when Playoff experience kicks in. This doesn't mean that I think they will lose the series...I just think that they will pull out a win tonight through sheer will.

One more thing....I also think that emotions are set to boil over in one of these remaining games ( a la game 2 ).....I think that one of the big 3 on both teams......BDiddy, JRich or SJax ( for the Warriors ) and Dirk, Terry or Howard will get emotionally unravelled before this series is over and somehow do something that will lose a game for their respective teams.

This is David West, he is the Honey Badger, West just doesn't give a *****....he's pretty bad *ss cuz he has no regard for any other Player or Team whatsoever.

The reason I think it will probably be close is the Warriors don't seem to have a carefree attitude. They're playing like it's a pickup game. They get down, and they're like oh well, let's go on a run and get back into it.

There were a few spots in game 4 where I thought the Mavs simply had control, and GS got some stops, hit some big shots and was right back in the game.

I agree with the unraveling part. Emotions have been high this whole series and it's made for great basketball, but things are gonna get crazy... especially if Dallas wins tonight. If the Mavs self-destruct, I think it will be tonight. If there's a game 6 or 7 then I can see the Warriors unraveling if a few things don't go there way!

I'm not sure the last time I've been looking forward to a game/series in the NBA that hasn't involved the Pacers. The Mavs/Spurs, Mavs/Suns are usually fun games, but this series has just kept me on the edge of my seat!

I agree. The Nets will triumph because of the postseason experience.

I want the Warriors to win just to spice things up, but if the Mavs are as good as they were in the regular season, then there will be a Game 6.

I have Nets in 7 in my playoff pool, so I'm rooting for the Raptors the next 2 games.

We don't know how serious it is yet, but yes, he went to the hospital as a precaution because of his medical history...
Vince fell on top of him and his neck might have been injured

    -Breaking News-
Jose Calderon celebrates every shot and every assist. It's great.

    1) Calderon makes the first free throw of the game (with 3:28 minutes left in the first quarter):

    2) Calderon reacts to Lawrence Frank calling a timeout that "seriously messed up our flow":

    3) Calderon and teammate celebrate a Defensive 3 Seconds call in the second quarter:

    4) Calderon expresses emotion after the Raptors win the opening tip:

    5) Calderon finds out he's starting:

I think you guys get the point. I need not crash the server any further.

They believe it is a stinger, but they said he had tingling in both of us arms so they're being cautious giving his past.

Pretty much what was said above me

The music they play in the background (while flashing stats and highlights) is pretty telling.

First, "Spirit of Radio" by Rush - the guitar parts, no lyrics, still great.
Secondly, "American Idiot" by Green Day - not sure what the message is there...

Yeah, he definitely should have shot that last one. Even if he could only get open 10 feet beyond the 3pt. line. Still better than a stone cold Boki Nachbar.
