    Inexperience.

They simply don't know how to win NBA playoff games, and NJ has been in a hundred of them.
    I agree 100%.

I don't think most fans realize how different the playoffs are from the regular season. Yes it is still basketball, otherwise there aren't a lot of similarities. You must have playoff experience to win. The Bulls would have gotten swept against the Heat this season unless they had two straight years of good playoff experience.

Before someone brings up the question - "what about the Warriors". Well the Warriors most important player has a lot of playoff experience and played great when he was on the Hornets. When your best player has experience you see what happens (Warriors), when your best player doesn't have PE (Bosh) you see what happens.

Bosh telling the media that he had no idea that the Nets would start the game so aggresively

The Warriors had the element of surprise. Dallas wasn't expecting a dogfight. NJ came ready to start one.

THe Warriors also have a hall of fame coach, and Toronto has Sam Mitchell.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

Isn't he the second winningest coach of all time?

    That alone merits HOF.

OMG, did anyone else hear Barkley?

He just called the Warriors fans jackasses, said they wished they were the Lakers, and said he is now actively rooting for the Mavs.

Haha, I just saw it too. He also said that Dirk should post Jacksons *** up down in the paint.

    Pretty funny stuff.

    He should.

    Unfortunately, he can't.

Warriors look pretty disjointed thus far, no ball movement.

Wasn't too long ago Bill Fitch had the most victories in the NBA, and it hasn't done him any good.

Nelson has certainly been an innovator, but it's the playoffs where coaches show what they're worth, and Nellie's never even been to the Finals.

Hinrich, Deng, Gordon and Nocioni beying some of my favorite NBA players today. Hmm... how did they get those players?

Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

...so explain why Larry brown made the hall of fame without getting there?

Warriors need to pick up the pace, and Jackson needs to quit pounding the ball.

WHAT A PASS. Jack had a nice one the possession before but Barnes blew it, fortunately J-Rich finished it this time.

Golden State is a bunch of freakin pitbulls right now...they just wont let the Mavs go....

Dallas completely outplayed the Warriors in the first half, and the game is tied. That HAS to play on their psyche...

Yup, the Dubs had an extremely subpar half while the Mavs actually looked like their normal selves. It's in the Warriors hands now, we'll see if they can take the lead in the 2nd half (or at least keep it close).

Would you please guard Baron Davis - he is the key to the Warriors. He's as important to them as Nash is important to the Suns.

Mavs should have about 8 point lead right now. But Baron and Pietrus kept them in the game.

Should be a fun second half

Best series... hands down! Game 3 was even a blowout, still keep me interesting. Great energy, crowds have been into it, players are standing up and into it. Lots of emotion! Makes up for a lot of the dud games! Gotta love it, no matter who you're pulling for!

I've been saying for so long that the Warriors aren't going to win the whole series...it just seemed unfathomable...but they are really playing like a playoff team.
