Absolutely not! We're not in the playoffs, hence you cannot discuss the Pacers at all!!!

Actually, I think this'll the first in a very long line of "hey, he's good, can we get him" posts over the next 2 months.
    Sounds like Quis...

In the west, I'm rootin' for the Warriors and the Suns. If Dallas gets to the finals, I'm rootin' for them.

In the east, I'm rootin' for Toronto and Chicago, but any team OTHER than Miami or Detroit is fine with me.

Cheering for the Jazz, Warriors, and Raptors. I'm watching this Pistons/Magic game, and it's just a shame thinking that this below .500 Magic team made it and we couldn't...

There are some great matchups in the first round of the playoffs this year. It's just too bad that the Magic vs Pistons isn't one of them. Cavs vs Wizards which was a great series last year doesn't excite me at all this year.

Other than those two series - the other 6 I think are going to be really good.

Agreed, the first round matchups are insane aside from the two you mentioned. The entire West is up in the air, and the other 2 in the East are going to be crazy as well.

Can't believe nobody's started this yet.

So, what wagons will people jump on? I guess I'll follow Grace with the Bulls, but they really screwed themselves on Wednesday (don't tell her I said that.)
    Why not? It's the truth.

But since they will lose in the first round, I'll have to go with the Raps.
Thank you for not throwing your curse the Bulls way.

    I'm with Jermaniac.

Obviously I want the Lakers to have success in the playoffs.

Also when there were about 5 games left, I really wanted the Clipps to fall

off even if they're an L.A. team. I really like GS and I can't wait to see if they

    can damage Dallas.

Orlando pretty much gave the game away at the line. Embarrassing free throw shooting.

Houston-Utah is a good one. This is old school basketball, only the strong survive.

Watching. ITs a good game. Aside from how both coaches kill about 25-40% of their own team's offensive ability to overload their defense.

I like a little variety with my basketball. If every game was 120-110, I wouldnt like it either.

I'm not talking about the score, of course I like defense. I don't like coaches who hurt their own teams in one way to make them over compensate on the other side. Same problem I have with _'antoni.

Same, I'm dying over here. Tomorrow will be filthy, especially compared to today's boring slate of games. It sucks that the Warriors have the last game of all the first round too, but at least it builds up the suspense.

    Me too.

Anyone else having problems with playing the video highlights at nba.com?

Let it be known that I am (having problems)....this is the message I get: "XML parser error 4: not well-formed (invalid token)".

    You're a not well-formed invalid token yourself!

    Edit- nevermind, they're back.

Are some of you wanting the Warriors to win, just so you can say, "see I told you so". Be honest now.

As to why "all the good games are today". There is a simple reason. TNT gets to choose which games they want before ESPN does.

    1) Once the matchups are set, they look to see which arenas are available when and then they look at possible start times. East coasts games can't start at 9:30 or later. West coasts games aren't going to start at 12:30 eastern time. OK, once that is all worked out.

    2) Then ABC gets to choose the two games they want. They choose the Bulls vs Heat and Suns vs Lakers. They have those two games next weekend as well.

    3) Then TNT choses the games they want. TNT has three games on Sunday, so they chose Caas vs Wizards over the other two available eastern conference games. TNT obviously choose the two western conference games they are showing tonight.

    4) last and least, ESPN gets the 3 left over games

So that is why today seems like the better games. The 3 best teams in the NBA play today.
