Biggest win in about 48764789278954792 years.

Tins with the game-winner, right over Tim Duncan.

    We're not buried yet.

It's like I was saying in the game thread, I'm happy for them for playing hard and earning a W, but I hate that this kills what little chance we had at getting a draft pick without having to give up (what little) talent (we have left) to get it.

    un-*ucking believable.

I hereby give Jamaal Tinsley a one week reprieve - I promise not to make fun of him or make negative remarks about him until this time next Sunday.

    Congratulations Jamaal, you've earned it.

Hero of the night was Jameer Nelson for attempting a game winning shot that I could have blocked sitting down.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

A great and prideful win no doubt. A real pickerupper that's not illegal.

Ike was well rested from that joke of a DNP-CD the other night and he took out his frustrations big time.

If we deal JO and get a new coach, I'd be willing to keep the Tin Man around because the talent is there, but oh how he toys with Pacer Nation!

I am really proud of the boys for toughing it out and winning this one, like you and everyone else.

I will have to hold onto this feeling for the next 2-3 years, because it is gonna get ugly

I cant believe some of you are complaining about the win. Unbelievable.

Whats up with Foster? Did he get injured or was it the back spasms? It looks like he didnt play in the 2nd half.

    Way to go Pacers!

Glad to see JT have one go down for him.

    Rick, please play Ike.

this would never have happened if JO had played. Pacers would have relied on dumping the ball into the post and watching JO shoot against the entire Spurs team collapsing on him.

Lets hope JO leaves in the off-season. The Pacers will become a better team if he does.

Well, Jameer Nelson is only 3ft 7, so I'm not really all that surprised...still, I love the guy.

No way to the P's get my praise after this win. Where was this effort for the past 20 games?

I would have much rather been in better position for the lottery than a meaningless win that puts us closer to a first round sweep.

We get it. Can we please have one thread where you don't go on an anti-JO rant?

    Sheesh.

I have a confession to make. During the timeout right before Tinsley hit the game winner, I said, I don't care who shoots it as long as it isn't Tinsley. Oh well.

Tonights game was all about Ike. It is obvious that when he gets the inutes he gets things doen. But when he just plays 10 minutes or so backing up JO, he does nothing. What I liked best tonight was that I saw Ike really playing hard, he battled and mentally he was into it. I know he can score, I know he can shoot, but sometimes he looks lost - but not tonight. Whether we want to admit it or not - Ike might just be the Pacers most important player - in the future and as they decide how to rebuild this team.

    Thank you.

They always come out heavy after we get a win like this, but pretty much silent when we're destroyed without JO.....

I for one don't mind the win, as I'd rather be picking in next year's draft which is full of backcourt prospects, while the current draft will probably do nothing for us except further clog up our frontcourt. TPTB will draft the best possible player available, regardless of his position. I know it sounds weird now, but who expected us to draft a forward last year?

I know this sounds incredibly strange, but I'd almost rather not have the pick or make the playoffs, as I would rather pick in next year's draft, and making the playoffs could legitimize not making as many changes to the team next year. I know it sounds terrible, but if you think about it longterm, it might be for the good of the team.
Proudly supporting the Indiana Pacers since 1992.

Currently on the Darrell Armstrong, Mike Dunleavy, Jr., and Marquis Daniels bandwagons.
