magic wins make it 30 wins for them does that change anything??
Yes, because their winning percentage would be higher if they win. (Adding 1 win and 1 loss (.500) to a below .500 record makes it a better winning percentage)

Wow...Danny with a turnover for a basket, followed by an airball on a three, followed by fouling Arenas on what could now be a 3 point play. Good work

The tank never stops. I'll be surprised if this team wins another game this year.
I have to say I agree 100%. Our team has 0% defensive intensity when it counts. I was against the tank talk, but what can I say now. I know: RC should be fired, I don't care what anyone says!

Thumbs down Re: 03/14/2007 Game Thread 64: Pacers at Wizards

Once again, TURNOVERS, TURNOVERS, TURNOVERS...that and poor shooting from the floor...cost them game #11 on these backwards slide.

Too many jump shots when they should have been driving to the basket!

Very few cutters going to the basket. Anyone w/TiVo replay the game and count the number of times the paint was CLEAR on a Pacers' possession and NOBODY CUT TO THE FREAKIN' BASKET on the inlet pass especially when JO was doubled!

We left Jamison or Arenas open too many times out on the wings.

Instead of switching off even in Zone defense where the ball handler wound up cutting to the basket, we instead tried to double him out along the perimeter. WHY!!!!???? STUPID defensive scheme!

We let this game get away in the 3rd qrt, and once again play stupid basketball here in the fourth. I can't watch anymore...turned the game off!

Would someone please tell me why Shawne isnt getting 20 minutes a game. I realize when he does play it's against scrubs from the other team, but the kid has talent. He is clearly one of the best shooters on the team and when you rank dead last in fg% per game in the leage, doesn't that mean you should try to find shooters to put in? It's not like he's any worse defensively than anyone else out on the court.

Could we start an official "Play Shawne Bandwagon"? Me thinks we should....

I'm more in favor of starting a "Fire Rick Carlisle" bandwagon!

There's just no way I'd be allowing my players to stand around the perimeter when your team FG% is so terrible! No cutters even when the lanes aren't sealed. WTF???

That play by MDjr near the top of the 4th was the ONLY cutting play to the basket I saw.

This team also needs a player who can blow by his defender and get to the basket. I'm NOT talking about a guy who can get inside the lane for a short jumper, ala, Tinsley style, but a guy who's NOT afraid to take a hit and get to the cup and FINISH the play. It's as if everyone except McLeod, Greene and Army were too afraid to take a hit. I wouldn't mind seeing Army drive the lane more, but I don't think his 38 yr old body can take it (nor should he be taking such punishment at his age like that). These young cats need to be doing that sorta stuff, but they aren't.

And what's with the two coaches the Pacers have had these last six years constantly relying on perimeter shooting in crunch time instead of enforcing the idea of driving the lane and getting to the basket? I will NEVER understand why common sense basketball 101 is not emphasized w/this franchise.
