    Default Jermaine O'Neal

I hear he'll play tonight, off the bench.

    Anyone else hear this?

Pacers Don't Know When O'Neal Will Return
    14th March, 2007 - 4:20 pm
    MSNBC -
Jermaine O'Neal has missed three games since an MRI exam last week revealed a sprained left knee. O'Neal traveled to Los Angeles for a second opinion on Monday and got similar results.

The Pacers do not know when he will be ready to return.

"There's no additional damage,'' said Deddrick Faison, O'Neal's business manager and spokesman. "He'll come back when he can after the swelling goes down and he gains more mobility and strength.''

O'Neal aggravated an already hurt knee in last Wednesday night's loss at Utah.

Coach Carlisle just said on pregame on FSN that he's not sure about JO, but they'res a chance.

Just saw JO warming up on the court, I'd say they're a decent chance he'll play tonight.

He went through warm-ups. Radio say he won't play. TV says he will

JO/Tinsley are game-time decisions. Foster is inactive

There are times when a player should be protected from himself, today seems like such a day for JO.

If it's a matter of heart - we all know where O'Neal stands.

It's not at all about beying soft, it's about it beying smart or not to be playing THIS fast again. I don't think it is given his recent trackrecord with that knee. I rather have him told to keep it rested for 2-3 more games, so he won't re-aggravate it after 2-3 games (or faster) again with more structural damage.

I agree with you. I wish that he would heal as well.
