Right now we're on a 9-game slide, the most since the 1988-89 season.

The worst season we've had in that stretch was the infamous Larry Brown exit season, in which we went 39-43. We could easily finish worse than that this season, which would give us our worst record since...the 1988-89 season.

Record wise could be, but we've been suffering through the worst teams the last few years.
You know how hippos are made out to be sweet and silly, like big cows, but are actually extremely dangerous and can kill you with stunning brutality? The Pacers are the NBA's hippos....Matt Moore CBS Sports....

Wow, a Waterboy reference?! This truly must be the low-point of the franchise.

I pray daily that we finish at .500 or above.

The answer to the question is no.

But one thing no one ever considers is that over the past year the Pacers have become a much younger team. Besides DA (13), JO(10) and Jeff Foster(7), no other player on the roster has played more than 5 full seasons. I realize that JT and Troy are in their 6th season, but the team has gotten a lot younger

With JO and Quis playing no. Without them, we are still probably better amazingly. The problem is, the competition is better these days.

It all just depends on what team shows up. For the last nine games this is the worst Pacer team I have ever seen. I am 19 years old.

No, Larry Brown's last team was worse.

This team is not adjusting well to a major mid-season trade that should be okay long term (assuming the backcourt is eventually fixed later).

The Season We Do Not Discuss consisted of underachieving from the beginning of the season through the last day of the season. Let's put it this way: Erick Dampier was the highlight of that season because of the way he exceeded expectations. Ah, the irony of that...
Why do the things that we treasure most, slip away in time
Till to the music we grow deaf, to God's beauty blind
Why do the things that connect us slowly pull us apart?
Till we fall away in our own darkness, a stranger to our own hearts
And life itself, rushing over me
Life itself, the wind in black elms,
Life itself in your heart and in your eyes, I can't make it without you

my thoughts exactly.. worse pacers team.... no.

    most inexperienced..... yes.

this team has hit a bad run, but they are capable of more and i expect we will get this before the seasons end.
