Add up three more losses. No way we're beating the Cavs or T-Wolves, and hell the Sixers might whoop our ***.

Why? we traditionaly dont play any worse w/o him.
then: adverb - at that time; at the time in question

than: conjunction & preposition - introducing the second element in a comparison

The brightside is that we get to see how quickly Ike and Harrison can rack up the fouls before getting bounced.....I'm guessing that they will play a combined 24 minutes a game.

Exactly right. I think this news actually INCREASES the chances for a win.

Except, we no longer have the players that have stepped up in his absence.

Remind me again, how well did we do in Utah after JO went out of the game?

Exactly. Without JO we're simply going to get our assed kicked even worse.

Sixers have been red hot. I think we win that game...but I would place no money on it.

sixers coming off a loss to LA at home then flying in here? no way. We win deff...if we can just keep Igoudala in check and tinsley can run with miler (big if's i know) then we might have a shot

Well, Philly just beat the Lakers by 16. Can we match the Celtics streak of 18?

Yeah, it does increase the chances for a Sixers win.

Neither were games I expected them to win anyway. The Sixers game is the only "upset" out of the bunch.

So this doesn't bother me at all. They need JO feeling good for games that are much more winnable rather than wasting him on games that weren't very likely anyway.

Sixers have now won 6 straight
Andre Miller, better TEAM oriented PG than AI, protects the rock more, takes better PCT shots and less of them, hands out more assists.

I wish the Pacers had tried to match the DEN package to PHI so that a 3 way deal could have been done with Dre coming to Indy instead.

Now I actually hope we get spanked tomorrow just because of all the dudes who say we are better with out JO. I want to see what the story will be then. At home against a team we should beat, and of course since we are better without Jermaine we should blow them out.

This year we are 2-4 with out Jermaine. Wins coming against the Rockets with out Yao and T-Mac on his first game back and the Blazers, but of course we are better with out Jermaine.

Tomorrow Mike Dunleavy and Danny Granger will learn how to drive to the basket, Mel Mel will learn how to shoot, Foster will hit layups and Murphy will learn how to play defense, all because Jermaine O'Neal isnt playing.

I'm predicting a Pacer win against Phily.

The Sixers are more of a guard driven team with Andre Miller & Andre Iguodala. I don't think having Troy Murphy instead of JO on Steven Hunter will hurt us as much as some think.

The key to the game will be Granger on Iguodala. If you can stop AI you can stop Phily.

Another factor is Phily playing lastnight & having to travel. It's minor I know but it may make enough of a difference to get us a win.

Finally, the fact that the team knows that O'Neal won't be there. This is the biggest thing we have going for us. That & the fact we've lost 7 straight. Guys will step up.

It'll be a close game but if we loose this one I'd be very surprised.

So, the Sixers still have AI.

(I can't be the first to pick up on that. Am I?)

This may not be the thread for this, but is the pick to Atl top 10 or is it full lottery protected (top 13 or 14 I think)?

If it's lottery, and I mean this, I don't want to make the playoffs. I would rather rest Daniels, JO, and Tinsley not play them again and get a decent draft pick vs no pick. I have to admit, I'm excited to see Ike get a full game playing time, DG be the man on offense, and Williams get a full run. Develop those guys and get a pick.

If it's top 10 that means, what we'd finish good enough to not have many ping pong balls and end up out of the playoffs and out of the top 10, w/o a pick, worse case scenario, by far.

Lastly, if ATL can't redeem the pick this year, does it roll to next year with less protection?

I may join the tank team, if it's lottery protected and enjoy watching IKE do his low post thing.

Star article this morning's reporting Daniels out 4 more and Tins possibly out tonight in addition to JO. So I have to think the Iguodala-Miller core has the advantage. Especially if they get something out of Dalembert, Korver, and/or Willie Green. Hell, at least I look at those names and say they've got a excellent point running things, a shot blocking and rebounding force, a legit 3-point threat and a budding superstar. They can actually score the ball a little. Must be nice.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tinsley hobbles onto the floor tonight and plays an inspired 38 minutes....but we will still lose by 20+ points.

The Sixes look REALLY good since they moved Iverson. The new AI has played amazingly since the Iverson trade.....I wish we had Iguodala
