Default Do we need a better backup QB?

I heard a few days ago that Joey Harrington would be cut from the Dolphins and it appears that is likely with the Sun article yesterday.

So is everyone happy with Sorgi as the backup or do the Colts need to take a serious look at someone else?
You know how hippos are made out to be sweet and silly, like big cows, but are actually extremely dangerous and can kill you with stunning brutality? The Pacers are the NBA's hippos....Matt Moore CBS Sports....

Sorgi has looked decent in the limited time he's played...but I guess having 2 pro bowl WRs on your team can do that for you.

There is no way I'd take a look at Joey Harrington. He lacks accuracy and has a moderately weak arm...and once he's under pressure, you have a guaranteed turnover.

I've always felt we've needed a more experienced back-up. Sorgi's been here a while but he is not experienced by any stretch.

I'd be a Colt fan again. Well in the preseason when he got snaps at least.

Ramsey's got a strong arm, and he has decent accuracy but his main problem is reading defenses. He doesn't make the best decisions as a QB. He has a lil bit of the Rex Grossman " it, I'm goin deep" mentality but he has shown signs of improvement. His only downfall really is that he tries to make passes that he just can't make on a consistent basis. He has TOO much confidense.

I'm sure he would learn well from Peyton.

Joey Harrington? Kegboy is a better quarterback than Joey Harrington. (I'd be better if I was a foot taller.)

As for Sorgi I have no problem with him. If (God forbid) Peyton ever gets hurt I say we give Sorgi a chance. In the mean time pick up whatever old has-been QB is loffing around on his couch. (Jeff George comes to mind only because Vinnie Testaverde has been pulled off his couch enough.)

Sorgi is fine I think he got a near 100 QB rating, and 2 of 3 teams he played were damn good. And can't imagine he had Harrison and Wayne for many of those plays. Some yes, many no.

No, when Peyton was sitting at the end of last year after starting.

I believe Brad Johnson signed on as a backup for the Cowboys, I could be wrong though.

As for Sorgi, he's alright, haven't really seen much of him in actual games situations, but he seems alright. I personally thought Shaun King outplayed him in the preseason this past year, and was surprised that we didn't keep him on.

Oooo, all those games the Colts lost.

Sorgi definitely needs to be upgraded.

Why does he so defintely need to be upgraded? He's a decent backup, and bringing in a better backup is kind of unneccesary anyway, since we're screwed either way if we lose Peyton. Having a slightly better backup QB won't change that.

I like Sorgi, he looked pretty good when I saw him play once I think against Denver. I don' know if we need a better backup QB.

But I have to say Terrence Wilkins SCARES the crap out of me when he takes off with that football, we may need to fix that spot.
