To those dismissing this, didn't the 8 Second story trickle out the same way, and that was over a day after it actually happened?
No, it came out quickly once it was known.

JO isn't the only Pacer who lives in Carmel, I know Harrison does also and who knows how many more of them do...
I'm sure many of them do. I was just stirring the pot.

Damn pot stirrers! I have noticed in my trips downtown from Carmel that it is in no way whatsoever convenient to commute from there. I would think Zionsville maybe would be easier with the easy access to 65, and they have some really nice houses up that way. To each his own I suppose. But I realize that I kinda just jumped waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay OT. My apologies...

My wife and I have both worked up there and communted from downtown. It's a long, painful process realtive to most parts of the city that you can get to in 10 minutes of interstate travel.

Some Pacers used to stay out in some nice condos over around 56th and Emerson IIRC, which had a straight shot down Fall Creek right into town. Not the interstate, but a lot less bogged by stoplights and signs.

Is this really a topic we care about staying on anyway? I wouldn't sweat it.

Finally, sorry I didn't get back to you about the lens before your SB trip. I ended up using it myself that weekend, esp. for the MON parade.

I've listened to his show, but I wouldn't call him a conservative
I listen to Abdul every morning....and yes, Abdul's expressed views are not particularly conservative. He is really a mix...which might explain why he is pretty politically connected. The program is really good and arguments from all sides are respected.

...but I would not put it past him to pull the leg of the listeners.

The Indy police are part of the conspiracy to tank the season and get a top 10 pick.

The only 8 second story worth talking about is Reggie dominating the Knicks...

Well I do agree that Abdul covers the issues from all view points, I think of him more as a centerist which is why I think he has mass appeal, but if you read some of his work and notes, I think he leans to the right.

I sent him an email asking if he was going to expand on his notes, I will let you all know if I get a reply....

For what it's worth, I wasn't trying to encite anything on here, I was curious if any one had heard anything, as this is usually the place that breaks those kind of stories.....

Yes - and so the US 31 project to upgrade it to an Interstate. When folks in Hamilton County yell, politicians listen.

Sorry - I know this is way OT.

From my experience you can yell all you want, but they'll still do whatever the they want.

Isn't that why you stopped going to the games?

I was referring to the Noblesville City Council, not basketball.

Yes, but unless I am mistaken they are only wanting to do that down to 465, which won't solve the direct-shot downtown problem.

I would say it's probably a really good thing that you didn't...EVERYTHING WAS SOAKED...Including the camera, which apparently had its LCD screen permanently damaged. You know what though? It wasn't my camera so I am not speaking from that aspect, but as far as me and all of my possessions being soaked, IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT! Just figures more than likely the only time I will go to a Super Bowl it had to be in a monsoon! Still riding the high though, and will be for a long time I imagine...

Dude, sucks about his camera. I've used mine in the rain, probably not that bad though. Gotta watch swapping out lenses for certain. But at spring training you always end up catching some rain it seems (but rarely does it rain a game out).

I wasn't there but I agree about it being worth it. I flip-flopped on the AFCC game but finally pulled the trigger, definitely worth it. I mean those aren't much more common than SB games (home AFCC games I mean).

As for US31, until the big money of Meridian-Kessler disappears (or the cache of Ripple) there will never be a good line right into downtown. I'd be happy with a better version of Michigan even at this point.
