The Kings lose to Philly tonight, 89-82, as Bibby goes for 7 points on 3-for-14 shooting.

It's sad that it's become this predictable, isn't it?

The Kings aren't that good - but they played a great game against the pacers. Mus, their coach said it was their best defensive game of the season

Although its a day late.....I wanted to add my comments...on a related note.

And, in typical fashion.......when the Cavs and the Bulls lose and we have a chance to move up 1 game on both teams....we lose a game against one of the worst defensive teams on the road and blow yet another chance to gain what little ground we have in the Eastern Conference.

WTF?!? the suns lose to Philly tonight 99-94... this pattern only works if we keep wearing teams down for Philly to beat and they win themselves out of lottery position.
    This is the darkest timeline.

That's just flat out amazing. What is wrong with the Pacers!?

My best guess it is the complete lack of defense in the back court with JT and MDJ combined with very weak defense from Murphy...that's why when Quis is placed into the lineup, we play a whooooole lot better.

I guess this is not really rocket science.

The fact none of those 3 players are above average starters...at least 2 are below average NBA starters....makes this a talent issue.

    Marion didn't play .

And look at the boxscore for Charlotte and the Kings. Martin had his career high and Bibby was also on fire - so it isn't just us

I could be dead wrong and the Pacers might lose by 35 points in Phoenix. But Friday night might be a decent time to play the Suns. They are coming off a road trip, they have a couple of injuries, and they might be hitting a little bit of a lull.

Ahh, for the days when it didn't matter about other team's road trips or who was injured - they still had to play us and beat us.

Our Pacers simply aren't a good team. I think we will get to the playoffs, one and done is it. We can't hold together very well, especially on the defensive end. It is like we don't, A: believe in each, B: Our coach has been tuned out, or C: Both.

I just want to see some fire in Pacers eyes, that is what is missing and I have to believe RC, though a good coach with a winning record has to go this off season, move him upstairs.

The SUNS very well could beat us by 35, I wouldn't be surprised. Sad, but true.

The Pacers need to be re-energized.

For Jermaine, that probably means acquiring another decent player this summer. A really good acquisition could go a long way in re-energizing this team and getting them to start believing in one another again.

However, without a decent acquisition, the only way I see of re-energizing this team is through a turnover in the coaching staff, from top to bottom.

    Food for thought.

I'm starting to agree with you - especially about the top to bottom part. Rick is by far the best part of the coaching staff and if he goes, then they all must go. But I'm glad TPTB forced Rick to fire Kevin O'Neill as we all can see that has really paid off.

It would be great luck if the Pacers could catch PHX without Marion and Diaw. Doesn't hurt that they have to travel just as far for the game and had to play more recently.

This team could use a break to get it going again.
