    Default Change of plans

This is in regards to the "Off the Court" and "Off the Field" boards.

After trying it for a couple of weeks, I don't think it's going to work long-term. So, with that said, I'm removing them after I throw the posts back to their parent boards.

Good call. I appreciate the willingness to try something new, but respect the ability to realize it isn't working. Worth a shot if it was something you were concerned about.

My opinion is nearly parallel to the above quote.

The ability to change course after a decision rather than march forward regardless of the situation is to be respected.

    Two thumbs up!

The extra forums were confusing to me and I'm sure others were just as confused. I know I had a couple of items to post that I held back on because I didn't know where to post them. And I totally forgot the Colts' had a separate "OFF..." forum so I ended up posting something in the wrong one.

Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

I second the props for being willing to change course.

I also am intrigued by the discussions prompted by the changes:

    - Is PD a media outlet or a message board?
    - Just how does the principle of free speech apply to PD?
    - How does the growth and success of PD affect its responsibility as a member of the greater Indy community?

Turns out those aren't simple questions, and I enjoyed the discussions.

The whole team listens to him, and it makes my job a lot easier. Having players like him is what pro basketball is all about for me.” —Larry Brown
