Of the players mentioned, the only one I have a problem with is Miller. Yes, he is a really good shooter, but I keep thinking back to the NCAA finals and the Michigan State game. To this day, I still believe he intended to harm Mateen Cleaves in that game. It made me happy as I could be to see Cleaves come back and help the Spartans win that game. It may just be my opinion, I have no use for a guy who would do that.
Just say no to Chucky. Lakers' fans don't call him Sucky for nothing!
I wouldn't mind trying to pry Hakim Warrick away from the Grizz. He was someone that I liked a lot in last years draft and I thought we would get him for sure until Granger fell so far.
Am I wrong to lust for Kyle Lowry? It seems like the perfect time to bring in a young pg, as he can be DA's understeady.

Due to Indiana and Memphis being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Indiana and Memphis had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Granger / Rawle
JO / Ike / Baston
Murphy / Foster / Harrison
Please keep the trade proposals and fantasies in the trade forum, if more show up they will be moved.

If you've done 6 impossible things today?
Then why not have Breakfast at Milliways!
I don't mind getting Chucky Atkins, I think he could obviously help us but I don't want Warrick at all especially for Williams. First off where would he play and secondly he doesn't fit in our system.Hes a uptempo guy who needs to play on a run and gun team like Memphis is.He would struggle in Carlisles walk it up half court offense.
As far as Mike Miller goes Walsh and Bird should look at all options to get this kid here. He is the perfect 3rd option. Look around the league how many guards do you know of that can score 18pts a game, shoots a high percentage. On top of that he's another guard who can rebound the ball for you, bring the ball up and pass.Alot of people mention about seeing a backcourt of Dunlevy and Daniels and how effective that might turn out to be.I think a backcourt of Miller and Daniels would actually turn out to be an even better combination because Miller is a much better outside shooter and much more athletic while you don't lose much ball handling or floor vision. Make it happen Donnie.
Why some of you wouldnt do that trade is beyond me.
Harrison,Rawle and Oreo Cookies for Chucky? Do it right now. Chucky is getting 13 per off the bench and shooting a very nice 39% from the 3 and you know how much we need one of those. I for one dont think DA will be able to last 30 more games plus the playoffs.
If we acquired Chucky, I'd look at the acquistion as a security blanket for the team and fans, not Rick.

thought i'd give you guys the heads up on the whole chucky atkins idea...appears someone else is interested in him...per new york daily news.
"Pat Riley is looking to add a guard - perhaps Memphis' Chucky Atkins - as insurance for brittle Jason Williams before Thursday."
It might make salaries a little harder to compute and work out but you just do the deal as separate deals.
Murphy or Dunleavy for 1 person as trade number 1.... then another 2-3 players for their 2-3 players in a separate, but concurrent (timewise) deal.
Nuntius was right for a while. I was wrong for a while. But ultimately I was right and Frank Vogel has been let go.
