I'm actually a bit surprised ESPN hasn't picked up the story yet. I'm watching ESPN News and there ain't anything.

talk about PR nightmare. All amidst the glow of a NFL championship by a bunch of (supposedly) clean cut milk drinkers. Is it fair to compare and contrast the Colts and the Pacers? You betchum red rider.

I wonder why Tinsley got so upset at being told the theft didn't involve him.....curious.

If management wasn't already contemplating moving Tinsley, then they sure are now. This team really cannot take any more PR hits. In some ways, the success of the Colts creates a stronger aversion toward the Pacers. Of your two major sports franchises, one is a champion, composed of players who have stayed out of trouble (a few incidents have occurred, but none in the past year). The other team has had a string of incidents, both large and small, which seem to come about almost like clockwork every 4-6 months. Every incident becomes magnified now, building upon what had already transpired. I really wish the handful of irresponsible players on this team could realize what they are doing, but they just won't. It appears it's in their nature to make mistakes.

Then why did people make such a big deal about the Rio thing at 3:00? We all know that wasn't even during the regular season either.

It involved the stupid and reckless firing of a gun.

I was merely indicating the time, not the severity of the offense.

Still not on ESPN.com and no arrests. Looks like it's getting some play in Indy, but hopefully it'll be drowned out by the post-Super Bowl Colts hysteria.

Sounds like a local story that will hopefully be dead by tomorrow.

I wonder if this will make it harder or easier to move Tinsley?

Easier to initiate putting him up for grabs, but harder to get something valuable for him.

After trading Jackson for Ike Diogu, anything is possible.

First off these guys are supposed to be professionals... what the hell are they doing out at a bar at 2:15 in the morning on the day of a game?! It's cool if it's not a game day but come on. Second Tinsley's play of late has been fantastic. I've been extremely happy with the job he has been doing. Having said that, Tinsley is becoming a cancer not only to the team but to the community. His shenanigans are getting ridiculous. I think it's time we said good-bye to the tin-man. If not before the deadline then definitely this summer.

The game is at 7:00. Should we take a poll to see how many NBA are awake at 2:15 AM. Unless they have young children - probably 75% of them are.
Nothing wrong with being AWAKE at 2:15am, but why do you have to be at a club... on a Tuesday night for that matter! A Tuesday night before a game! Why not go out after the game tonight when you don't have to play Thursday?!

I'm glad this happened before the trade deadline, hopefully this brings urgency, b/c I'm tired of this

It wasn't going to be easy before, this will just make it harder. At this point Steve Francis is starting to look like a welcome possibility.

If there are no charges brought - will this really change anyone's opinion of Tinsley and the Pacers. I say it won't. Although I'm sure we'll hear a lot of people saying they won't ever go to a game again....yada, yada

The time never bothered me - it was the idiocy of going to that particular bar.

8 Second's quite a bit higher class though not the place I'd pick for Pacer players to go to but I don't remember what they play Tuesday - or maybe they had a show.

I wouldn't worry about ESPN either - the story's only an hour old. Give it time.

And to think it bothered me when the Knicks signed Sprewell ... I feel for you guys.

Again, I'm baffled, but Ike for Jackson right? And SJax shot a gun. Tinsley threw a punch.

They weren't in the 8 seconds part of the club, they were in Tremors which is the back part of 8 seconds. Though I wouldn't call either place a bit higher class.

You're right, but last time we only threw in those who didn't help the team...
The only ones that fit this description are Harrison, Baston, McLeod and Greene... What can you get in exchange?? I wouldn't give away anybody else, Neither O'Neal, nor Granger, Foster or Murphy...dunno...This crap goes on my nerves!
    Thank you Jeff.

Than Rio? [hyperbole]The dumpster behind my office is higher class than that place.[/hyperbole]

Unless they've changed things since I was there last, the coat check's in front.

But I never went to Tremors - was always too much fun watching divorcees try to pick each other up on the dance floor. My spot used to be the bar over by the pool tables. Just hang there, joke with the 'tenders and spectate.
