To be fair, the Heat are playing a zone, which makes it difficult to get it to JO. JO's shooting 2-10 also. But almost the whole team is shooting poorly so far.

JO is 0 - 2 but was fouled at least 4 if not 5 times without getting a call, refs are influencing this game

Our wing players are 0-10 right now. I think we need more scoring from the 2/3 than that.

It's frustrating because the general effort and play is very good, but they aren't hitting shots they should make...or aren't taking shots they can hit perhaps.

JO has been punked out by Zo a couple of times which is driving the offense away from the rim for the Pacers. Gotta stick with the inside effort and find a way to make it work.

No shot makers, which means Miami will never leave the zone. Someone is going to have to hurt that zone to make them give it up. Looks like the Pacers have a rep going, at least with Miami.

Luckily Miami is playing as bad as we are.

That was a tough spot for JO to try to convert the last shot of the half. He's not hitting, but I generally like what he's doing. We are still right in this thing despite some weaker defense and poor shooting. Plenty of time to come back and win it. I think we can beat these guys.

Horrible half. Need to do much better on offense in the 2nd half.

What is up with Indiana shooting? IU shot terrible last night, now the Pacers are struggling!

Anybody else NOT shocked to hear Wade leading league in FTA's?

Hope the refs come to the same conclusion

we need JO to get it going on offense, when that happens we're fine.

Miami's shooting percentage collapsed in the second quarter - they are now not much better than us. We are outrebounding them, and have picked up a decent number of blocks and steals (4 each).

Pacers made five shots and attempted 2 free throws in the second quarter. Neither of those should ever happen.

Well, the Pacers are really struggling, but they're only down 7. If they can get it going in the 2nd half, they could take this.

Some good numbers from the 1st half:

    T. Murphy: 11 pts (5-7), 7 rebs
    J. O'Neal: 6 pts (2-12), 8 rebs, 3 blks
    J. Tinsley: 8 pts (4-5), 2 asts

Foster with only 6 minutes! Is he slowly being phased out or what?

Nope, I'm not mad. I'm glad I don't have to witness this onesided bash fest from you (and others) on Sarunas anymore. But I will tell if JO is having a bad game, and he sure is stinking up the place on offense!

Get JO off the floor and bring in Maceo!!!

Great question, he had 12 minutes against Chicago and now 6 in the first half against Miami. We might as well trade this guy. There have to be teams willing to give up good talent for Foster, why not get something done if he is going to be rotting on our bench. There is no reason to have a starter sitting on your bench and Foster is clearly a starting calibur player.

No, but you're watching him being transformed into a fairly well paid role player. It's hard to justify starting Foster when you have a legitimate shooter as his potential replacement. Board production is roughly equivalent to Murphy.

The question now is, because he is a valuable role player to the team, what value will the management place on him? Is he a 5-6 million dollar role player? Especially given what they've already spent on Murphy, and their likely hunt for a future PG?

Shrug, I hope they find a way to keep him around. He's a great influence from a hustle and work ethic perspective.

Wade with ANOTHER strip. And then he tips in the shot. He's having his way with the Pacers.

If they could just hit those wide open jumpers, the game would be much closer. This bad shooting is just killing us.
