2 seconds left. Still time for Jack to be a hero.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

My problem with JO is he takes around 15 shots per game whether or not he is hitting them, which is something I criticize Jack for, so nice try. JO fans and their inferiority complex.

If you are going to consider JO a franchise player, you need to start holding him to a higher standard than Stephen Jackson.

LMAO so it's ok in this situation to ride the "hot hand" and let jack take what is it 23 shots now but if JO takes 15 shots (who cares if he usually shoots close to or above 50%) he's in the wrong. Ok maybe Jermaine should just take 24 and score about 36 points that's cool right?

Damn, Jack seemed to get a little winded at the end. 49 minutes tonight.

Same, he had a couple that just sort of rimmed out. Either way, a solid debut by him and Sarunas. Al, on the other hand...

too bad too Jack was closing in on a triple double 29 points 7 rebounds and 6 Turnovers.

EDIT: It only took him 49 minutes to get those 7 rebounds.

Didn't see the second quarter, but I didn't think Sarunas looked that good. Not bad, but not at Jack's level.

    Al looked very bad.

Wacko Jacko with his usual lousy shooting performance, 10-25, 40%. He's not a shooting guard folks, he's a missing guard. Also a nice 6 turnovers to add the icing on the cake. And what about that 2nd half from the Warriors?

Without Jack, the Warriors ain't even in the game to get to overtime.

Also, he played 31 MORE MINUTES than your boy Quis did today. Don't forget his 5 steals either.

Hard to find too many faults with Jack's game tonight. Without a doubt, Jack kept them in the game and almost won it for them.

Wacko Jacko was terrible out there. The fact he shoot so much only made his typical 40% shooting that much worse. 4-10 is bad enough, but at least then you're only blowing 6 possessions. Tonight Jacko was 10-25, blowing a whopping 15 possessions with his infamous CLANK! off the iron.

15 missed shots + 6 turnovers = 21 Warriors possessions ruined by Wacko Jacko the Black Hole. Wow. And the Cavs played one of their worst games of the season and it almost looked like they wanted the Warriors to win, yet in the end Wacko Jacko CLANKS! the potential game winner and the Warriors continue to stink up the NBA.

Wacko Jacko's Bad Attitude + the Warriors Atrociousness = Explosion Waiting to Happen.

Somebody obviously didn't watch the game. Also, he was 9-for-18 at one point, so his shooting tonight was fine. He just played a ton of minutes in a brand new, up-tempo system. It's pretty apparent that he got a bit winded at the end of the game.

However, your constant bickering about Stephen (even after he's traded) continues to be hilarious, keep it up.

I am very glad GS didn't win...I'm sorry, I just can't root for ex-Pacers like that. Jack makes it really hard though. I always loved him because he was a constant underdog here. Glad he did well.

9-18 at one point? That means he finished the game 1-7. That's 14.3%. Ouch.

Marquis Daniels is just plain better than Stephen Jackson, and that's why Indy traded Wacko Jacko and not Quis to the Warriors.

    LMAO at the AP recap:

"They followed it up with a tenacious overtime, which ended with Stephen Jackson's 3-point attempt rattling in and out at the buzzer."

"The Warriors had a 12-point edge early in the fourth, but Cleveland improbably rallied..."

"Golden State fans had to be encouraged by their new players' debut. Harrington and Jackson took the court in the Warriors' starting lineup to raucous cheers from the Oakland crowd that had grown weary of traded regulars Mike Dunleavy and Troy Murphy."

Yes, what an improbable rally, highlighted by Jackson missing an important three-pointer. If you're a Warriors fan, you just have to be...encouraged.

Should we do Warriors game threads all the time now? Apparently you people love to still hate Jack so you can feel better about yourselves. To each their own I guess.

That's OBVIOUSLY Quis' fault that he played 31 more minutes less than Jack. Also don't worry I'm sure nobody will forget those 5 steals by Jack it only took him nearly an hour to get them. What does it matter anyways if he had 5 steals he had 6 turnovers?

Al clearly had another horrible night. 19% shooting!

Jack had a better game the last time he was a Pacer. Against Jersey, he scored 14pts in 24minutes only taking 9 shots.

In his debut with GS, he scored 29 pts in 48 minutes...about the same rate of scoring, but it took him 25 shots.

40% shooting is not horrible, but is below average.

Wait til they get Baron and JRich back. It will be very tough for them to get in a rhythm, because their shot attempts will be cut in half.
