well--- after the one odom FT-- we honestly had a fighters chance at getting this thing to OT at least...

but instead they take like 8 seconds to get up an attempt, and then the LAST ditch attempt--- AJ misses a bunny.

oh well, the last minute at least was interesting (if not depressing) for us P fans

Tough loss.. guess it had to happen sometime though with the way we have been playing so far.

I've been ragging on O'neal, but Artest was worse tonight!! Stupid fouls and many poor shots.

I remember one time the shot clock running down, Reggie is WIDE OPEN for a 3 to take the lead for the first time since the 1st Qtr and he drives the lane for a BAD SHOT!!

KICK IT TO THE GUNSLINGER, ASSASSIN!!

Damn, this was a winnable game with a little frigging effort!!!!!!!

I just hope that if the Pacers have one horrible playoff game this postseason, that this was it. Because if the Pacers play like that next round (should they get there of course), they'll get blown out by 30. There's absolutely no way they can compete with the Nets/Pistons playing like this.

What really scares me is J.O. is getting shut down by Miami's frontline. How is he gonna fare against Wallace & Wallace? Martin & Collins?

J.O.'s 29 points were mainly spoon-fed to him by Tinsley for easy shots and his 11 made FT's. At least that's what I saw tonight. He scored using his post-up a few times tonight, but it happened rarely.

    We were out-rebounded, out-shot and out-hustled.

I am not entirely sure you can call 29 points being shut down. He missed a ton of free throws tonight and still scored 29. 42% is not great but he was getting fouled a lot and that affects your shooting %.

This stat is the most annoying one to me in this game

    Pacers' FTM-A: 22-34, 64.7%

What I mean by shut down was that he was rarely scoring on his own, like in post-up situations. Most of his points were created for him by Tinsley mainly and other teammates (e.g. fast breaks, good passes to him for easy dunks and drawing fouls.) At least that's what I saw. I looked away from the TV every once in a while but from what I saw he rarely scored unless it was spoon-fed to him.

Yes, it seemed like JO wasn't playing well. He seemed to miss every big shot when we needed one.

I felt we force fed O'neal and Artest too much tonight.

As bad as we played, we make free throws and this game would've been ours.
