LMAO 10 seconds of the game passed and the old drunk man was already talking crap about the Indiana Pacers.
I grew up watching Tommy, and although I enjoy him in a Bill Walton-esque sense for his ridiculousness, he is indeed a horrible commentator when it comes to talking about what is going on in the game.

He's basically Jack Nicholson's character from The Departed at this point.

Then he lost the ball on a regular bounce pass from Al. and he has missed 3 horrible shots.
Just to clarify for the Tinsley's Horrible Shooting Watch, his did miss his first three shots horribly, but they were all good shots: Two wide open jumpers and a floater after good penetration on a broken play.

And for the Foster Watch: 2 for 2...One tough fallaway putback off the glass and a layup in transition off a great pass by Jamaal.

Bassy just drove by our entire team for an uncontested layup. We need some energy. Take Jack out, put Quis in.

That had to be the most pathetic attempt at defense by a profesional basketball player in my life.

Telifair took off behind the half court line and just straight sprinted down the court, and he was at the basket by the time this dude Jasikavicus moved a foot. How sad is that? He ran across half of the court and our PG moved one foot. God bless his heart.

Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

Disagree. They would have been ok in a must-shoot situation, but in both instances we had plenty of time to look for a better shot.

    Agreed.

Runi is gunning! He hits the three!

I wish Sarunas could handle the ball... if he had any kind of handle, he could challenge Tinsley for minutes. I've been Mel-Mel's biggest backer, but he's been awful.

Both the jumpers wide open looks.

I believe it's for the betterment of the offense to take those. You just can't let you man sag into the paint like that---hafta keep him honest, IMO.

At least he's hit a couple back to back. I think he can handle the ball, he's just a paranoid dribbler.
