With all the talk about AI coming here, if you were the GM for a minute and had the opportunity to get either Steve Nash or Allen Iverson who would you take. Don't consider their ages or what we would have to give up - just who would you want.
The best exercise of the human heart is reaching down and picking someone else up.

Are you joking? Obviously the back-to-back MVP.

To create a thread with no replies title it "Post here if you would rather have AI over Nash on our team".

They are both so talented, but in different ways, but this is a no-brainer.

Gotta go with Nash even when you don't consider age and $. It really comes down to risk. With AI, you are going to be rolling the dice. You never know how he will mesh with RC or other players on the court. It could blow up in your face. He dominates the ball and would reduce rather increase the production of other players. That's really the difference with Kidd or Nash v Iverson. Iverson is more athletic and explosive offensively than either one, but Kidd and Nash make their team mates better. Considering everything, Nash is better than either one right now. That's why he has been the MVP. Not terribly athletic, just terribly effective.

Would getting Nash include the D'Antoni 7 seconds-to-shoot offense? AI might be a better fit for the current Pacers roster and coaching staff.

It all depends on who you have on your team. I think our club would be a good suit for Ivy, but a better suit for Nash.
