Sarunas' defense brought to you by Lead. Lead: you can't stand there like a statue without it.

I take it we're not doing very well judging from Lamar's post?

Ok, well we are shooting below 20%. Lucky this is a back-to-back game ... that way we can come back in the second half and reduce the end score to less then a 20 pt differential .

Yeah, Lamar's been right on the money.

Pacers look bad on both ends tonight. Basically, they look like they've looked the past few games.

Based off the first quarter and the past few games, looks like we'll be on a four game losing streak after tonight (and lost 5 of our last 6 games). Maybe we're still learning a new system. But damn, if the learning curve is THIS steep, the payoff better damn well be worth it.

If Rick can get this team to win half their games he should be coach of the year

Well guys i wanted to wait until after the 10th game to pass any kind of judgement on this team, and since it appears that this one is over, we are just not that good straight up. Our lineup on the floor now : Saras, Marshall, Wacko, Powell, and Baston. Yikes. I wish i had the answers but i mean what can i say that hasn't already been driven into the ground. Jackson is terrible, he does more harm than good, I think we should keep with starting Quis. Rebounding might be the worst I've ever seen for an NBA team. Point guard situation is a nightmare. JO is not a premier player after all, we need a true center. Playing freaking Al Harrington at center is just not gonna work. Yada yada yada

Well, let's see. We've allowed the Bucks to score 27 in the first after allowing 28 in the first the other night. We're being outrebounded 15-12 to the worst rebounding team in the league (which I imagine will refer to us in the near future). Mo Williams has pretty much used Sarunas like he's trying to show off for his girlfriend (which at this point may be the aforementioned Sarunas).

I used to watch teams like the Bulls post-Jordan and the Clippers (until recently) really struggle and just look inept doing it, and I used to remember thinking "Thank God we don't have to deal with that, and I hope we never do." It did occur to me that someday we would fall to that level, but I never ever thought it would happen so soon. Folks, this is not a good team, regardless of what happens tonight. And I don't mean to be pessimistic or a doomsayer, but this team just has that look of a team that will continue to implode and get even more frustrated with each passing game. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think so.

I watched Jackson hit over 20 3-pointers in a row pregame 04 season. He is bound to get on a good streak eventually.

Well we seem to be down less then 10 points, while we are shooting like MEGA-crap, so I'm hoping we can get a little closer and just hope that we come out after half time with a new spirit.

I don't think anyone on this team could win one of those halftime shooting contests that they have for the fans. And I don't mean the halfcourt ones, I mean the layup, free throw, 3 point contest!!

Why is Sarunas in the game?

    2 TO's in a row.

So, the Pacers come out of a timeout and:

    -turn the ball over immediately
    -give up two back-to-back 3's

This team is inept at virtually everything right now. Seriously, I can't think of anything that this team has done well tonight.

It seems to me that are only problems are that we're out of sync offensively, we don't play good defense, we don't rebound, we turn the ball over too much, and we don't get to the line often enough.

Watching Sarunas and DA work together really reminds me of Sarunas and Derrick Sharp at Maccabi. For those who don't know (like RC), Sarunas was the playmaker and sharp used to hit the open threes when they won their championships...
