I don't wanna say that's as good as we can play, but that was one hell of a quarter.

JO is as active as I've seen him in a long time on defense. Even when he wasn't blocking shots he was altering them. He was also a good "point" man at the free throw line and didn't hold the ball much at all. That pass from the top of the key to him at the elbow to Al for the one-step dunk was just great movement and the ball never touched the floor.

Jack quietly had a great half. Played very good defense in chasing Korver and in rotating. And he took open shots within the offense and otherwise kept the offense flowing by making good rotation passes, making good cuts and even vocally telling the younger perimeter players where to pass the ball.

Redbull is just great for this team. His quickness bringing the ball up the court in a pleasure. His penetrate and pitch is exactly what we need to keep the ball moving around.

Rawle played completely within the offense and looked like he belonged on the court. What a steal. Flight who?

Aside from one bad TO, Tinsley played very well.

Quis and Foster were both very active as well. Quis was slashing and Foster was all around the hoop for boards. Also made CWebb look like the creaky-kneed old man river that he is everything Jeff checked him.

Al and Danny were both good as well.

Basically everyone played in unison and the ball just went where it should and never where anyone tried to make it go.

    Great Quarter!!!

NBA.com box score has Powell listed as active and Baston out. BTW, I'm not impressed with Daniels play so far. He looks tenative and then sloppy at the same time.

Now that there's a break in the action, let me clarify. Of course, when I typed this originally, Daniels dropped a three as I pushed submit. After all the hoopla this summer, I expected Marquis to come out and play the way Rawle did in the first half. Rawle clearly left his mark. While Daniels contributed, he didn't come out swingin' like Marshall. If Marshall keeps playing like this Daniels may become more aquainted with Harrison than he'd like.

Might be too early, but if Danny is The Gift....then Rawle is The Steal

What a steal by The Steal

Rick with a T now? I'm confused. Dalembert's block must have not been all ball?

Hilarious... and you guys said Jeff couldn't finish. Dalembert makes him look like LaBron.

I really like having Granger and Rawle at the wings.

Granger's shot isn't falling, but he's rebounding like a crazy man.

Man, the Pacers have some AWESOME ball movement tonight.

Well, that, or the Sixers play horrible defense. Either way, I'm liking what I'm seeing.

I want to see us win by double digits again. We really need to focus on the Sixers pick and roll which killed us last year.

I love Al's game, he is even better than I remember him being and I thought he was our 3rd best player when he was with us before.

This is bringin back some good memories of the 03/04 season.

Questionable no-call. Tinsley asked the ref why JO didn't get the call, Jermaine grabbed him and started walking to the bench, and Rick stepped out on the court and got the T.

Pretty weak no-call, and pretty weak T. Not that it mattered.
