    Default League Pass Broadband

I ordered League Pass a couple weeks ago becasue I moved away to go to school and we dont get Pacers games in Ft. Wayne. I ordered it so I could watch them online through League pass Broadband. I went to their website today to make sure it worked for tomarrow and it says their are no games. I dont know why becasue the season started tonight but it just says no games to broadcast today. The Pacers game is tomarrow and i need to get this figured out soon. This is the web site http://www.nba.com/broadband/league_pass.jsp for league pass broadband. I would appericiate any help!

A lot of the Pacers' games are going to be on Fox Sports Indiana (formerly Fox Sports Midwest). I have DirectTV and order that channel separately and in addition to League Pass. I hope that helps.

I think the reason that the two games tonight werent on there was because they were on national TV and blacked out. Hopefully the Pacers game will be on there tomarrow.

I checked that out last year when I had comcast broadband and I was bummed that whenever action got really fast it would skip frames and you wouldn't see all of the play. Frustrating and really made it unwatchable to me. Connection speed checkers said my connection was ok, but not great, don't know if that was the problem. I have verizon fios now but haven't tried it. Are they going to offer some free sample games?

In in NYC today, so I'm hoping to figure out this LP-Broadband thing at the hotel.

Why do the things that we treasure most, slip away in time
Till to the music we grow deaf, to God's beauty blind
Why do the things that connect us slowly pull us apart?
Till we fall away in our own darkness, a stranger to our own hearts
And life itself, rushing over me
Life itself, the wind in black elms,
Life itself in your heart and in your eyes, I can't make it without you

You have to have a free account through NBA.com and once you sign in you choose your game and then you have to put in your account number and choose your television provider.

I don't believe league pass is offered outside of the US.

What they need to do is offer League Pass via Broadband for a cheaper price than League Pass on my cable... that'd be sweet.

You can see if someone is providing a bit torrent, saw a lot of games last year that way. As the techie guys here, they'll turn you on to them if you don't know.

Did anybody get this to work last night or watch a replay today?

I got an email response - I couldn't log in via my DirecTV username - that they were having "security" problems and to try again tonight, but it still didn't work.

I guess I'll watch two games tomorrow whenever I get home from the Big Apple.

I really wish they would just offer an online only version of League Pass. If I got League Pass itself, it would probably ruin my marriage, so I'd either ignore my wife or watch so little basketball as to make it not worth my time/money. On the other hand, I'm at work doing very little during the west coast games, so it would be great to watch some NBA ball at work and be able to watch the Pacers games on the road on the west coast.

However, for this to work, I only have 2 options:

    1. Get them to offer the online only version. By the way, this will never happen, because there's no way of protecting your home market. For instance, there's nothing keeping me from saying I live in New York so the Knicks games get blacked out, allowing me to watch the Pacers on the internet instead of FSI.

    2. Con someone into selling their broadband priviledges, who also doesn't live in a market that I care about. Atlanta, for instance.

I may be able to help you out with that one, if you don't care about watching the Cleveland LeBrons.

Yes, and no. If you are in US and ordered it, and lets say go on vacation to UK, Madagascar, wherever you will be able to use your broadband account to watch games online. Problem is if you are in UK, so than you have no chances to order it. Once you ordered it you will have no problems watching games from anywhere in the planet.

Seems like if the european fans didn't have a problem paying the cost of the full service, some of the americans here who can't afford league pass could watch it for free (or nearly free, I'll leave negotiations up to interested parties).

    win-win situation
