    Default Rumor, Fact, or typo?

Interesting that Matt Buser from yahoo fantasy has Jermaine O'neal (from Denver) as the 14th ranked PF, and Marcus Camby (from Indiana) as the 17th ranked PF.

This has to be a typo, but is it? Does this guy know something that the rest of us doesnt know! Or is he just stupid?

Anybody have Vescy's number to confirm this?

Double check to see if Andre Miller is also (from Indiana), or possibly 'Melo.

Otherwise, it better be a typo.

It shows Andre from Denver (but dated 10-23-06). The JO / Camby "typo" is dated 10-27-06.

    Typo. No question.

In the abstract there are players I'd trade Jermaine for, but unless the trade includes Melo there's not even anything to consider.

I don't know how that would work salary-wise and don't intend to check, as I know the trade is not possible, but I'd do it in a heartbeat. How can you refuse arguably the best rebounder in the league for a player that is not half the player his name makes it? Let's face it. When JO plays its not good for the Pacers. Same old lost post style i dont want to see, ever. Too bad its typo

That's wild. Marcus Camby. We're talking about Marcus Camby.

I don't even want to imagine how good Denver would be with JO and Anthony on the same team.

"I'm the man!" "No, I'm the man!" "No, I'm the man!" "No, I'm the man!"

Hmmm How good would they be?

Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

Look, we get that you hate JO. But I'd bet a large sum of money on that team. They'd be the favorites for the championship, without a doubt.

    Successful Scenario
Due to Indiana and Denver being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Indiana and Denver had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Ok you guys are out of control. It was a typo. If they had this news why would they not break it? Plus who in their right mind would trade JO for Marcus Camby?!?

Can we possibly trade for players who aren't injury-prone?

Speaking of Camby, take a look at his stats in the game vs Clippers:
60% field shooting and 100% from the line for 16 points, a total of 18 rebounds !!!, 4 assists, 1 steal, 4 blocks, no fould trouble, and all at the expense of as much as ZERO turnovers.
Come on, you've got to be kidding not to trade JO for Camby plus fillers.

Of course, if we stopped the season now, he'd be the MVP.

What I'm saying is, stats from one game don't immediately extrapolate out into an MVP season.
