    Default KL Questions Thread

I'm going to be contacting the site at some point to ask a few questions. Among other things, I have to get Mourning logged on.

Does anyone have any other questions to ask?

    I have one:

"If I set the league to allow daily roster updates, does this mean that if a player who would normally be on the bench plays on a night when other players aren't, he should be selected to start that day to maximize points?"

If anyone else has questions they'd like me to send, please post them on this thread. I'll share the answers both here and on the site's message board.

Maybe not nba.com, but somebody needs to tell me how the waiver wire works.

I saw that some players were waived but I can't see how to put a claim in, and don't understand the current waiver wire priority list.
The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!)

Not too tough - go to "My Team" at the top go to "add player". Then a list of players will come up. Click on either add player or waivers, depending on what's next to the player's name, then click "add player."

We're supposed to have an inverse priority - worse record gets 1st shot with players on waivers 24 hours. But since we have no records yet I believe it's 1st come, 1st served.

I'm trying to set up the ABA site to mirror the KL as much as possible.

Can you explain what settings you're using on the "Transaction" page, under Set Lineups - How Often do lineup changes take effect.

What settings are you using on that page?

I've got setting lineups daily and 5 minutes before game time.

Using inverse standings for waivers and 1 day on waivers.

2 days where transactions may be reviewed and 11 votes needed to veto. Trade deadline is 2/24 which was the default. No max # of transactions.

Of course if anybody really screamed about any of that it could be changed but I haven't heard much so far - I do want to find out for sure how the lineup setting works for scoring purposes though.

Sent you a PM BTW - see what you think.

Ok, not a question, but a BIG THANK YOU to all who send me an e-mail with the link in it and Rim for all the time he invested in helping me on-board, I was finally able to join the League. Looking forward to my first draft next year!
