Did they say anything about the injury?
The preliminary is a sprained ankle, but it looked much worse than that. Wilcox slid on the floor and kicked Dirk's ankle, which buckled.

Here is my random thoughts on the brawl.

Players need to be held to higher standards.

You do that at about ANY other job you get fired. Period. Yet, in sports, that behavior is accepted and it has become old. Players might say in the heat of the moment your emotions get the best of you and this is an emotional game. Grow up. If you can't control your emotions then you don't belong in the NBA. Professional sports shouldn't be called professional sports.

How was IT not suspended? He should get fired for telling Collins to make that hard foul. You know what if JR Smith (I think he is the one who got fouled hard) had fallen and landed wrong and broke his neck or something like that? I wonder if IT would ever call for a foul like that again. I wonder if Collins and co. would listen to a order like that again.

You! And they wouldn't be so bad if the shorts matched. They look like practice squad unis. The jersey part looks fine.

All out of teams have goons on their team. Seems like Mardy is IT's goon.

Remember when we beat the Knicks the first time this season and IT said we were celebrating too much and he would pay us back for that somehow. Well the 2nd time we played the night before the Nuggets fight, Collins hit Maceo with a flagrant. I'm 100% certain that IT called for that foul and the foul against the Nuggets. And after ESPN showed that clip of IT telling Melo not to go to the Basket, I dont know how he didnt get suspended for at least a game.

Top seven teams in the West look pretty set (except maybe for the Nuggets). The eighth spot is now occupied by GS but I think the Clippers could/should make a run. That spot is mos def up for grabs tho.

I would like to see Ron do well. The Hornets aren't going anywhere.

honstly can't think of the last 6'6" 270-lb power forward that could put all that weight in the air like he was a shooting guard.
Look at Paul Millsap. He is "just" 256lb and 6'8 with shoes.

So Knicks are on a roll now, post-brawl 2-0 and both buzzer beaters in OT against the Jazz and Bobcats. Amazing tip in last night from David Lee.

6'7 Caron Butler averages 8 boards a game.

The best rebounding guard/forward in the league.

    And pulled down 10 tonight.

When I saw D-Fish's 0.4 second heave I thought I'd seen it all, but watching David Lee's tip-in buzzer beater in overtime (Live nonetheless) was friggin' amazing...granted I was rooting for the Bobcats - has that ever been done before? You'd think the Bobcats would create a half-circle around the net (there's no 3 seconds when there's only 0.1 left on the clock)...ridiculous!

Did Bickerstaff just get out-coached by Isiah Thomas?

    Millsap is a badass, NFD.

Cleveland, a team that needs a point guard way worse than we do, scores a prolific 71 points and Pollard sports the mo'. LMAO

There goes Ron with his fake injuries. Apparently he pulled himself out of the game, right before the game started tonight and it pissed off Musselmen because he didnt tell him. And the trainer didnt know he was hurt either.

    LOL GO RON

Caron is 1B. And 1A. Kidd is just slightly below Caron.

If Arenas goes for 60 again, just hand him the MVP and get it over with.

Honestly, he's not really like Ben at all aside from the height. As of now Max is averaging about 0.6ppg less than Ben in ohhh... about 22 less minutes per game. And he's just getting better. Another 14 points, 3 boards, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 3 blocks (yes, he blocks shots) in 20 minutes tonight. He's like an offensive version of Ben Wallace, but unlike Ben, he's pretty damn good on the other end as well.

As far as rebounding goes... I agree that that is an area he should work on, but looking at 82games.com you'll notice that when he's on the floor we grab 3.8% more of the available rebounds than when he's off. Part of the reason why his numbers are low is that our other bench guys (Dale, Delfino, and Dice) are all very good rebounders for their position. Either way, he's a beast as-is.

Max isnt even a similiar shot-blocker, though. %90 of his blocks come from swatting his own man, wheras Ben almost never blocks the guys he's guarding.

Maxiell is going to be a beast in this league. I'm loving his inside scoring ability. Nobody wants to deal with him in the paint.
