If you ask me this whole revolotion is being promoted by the Pro-Shark lobby. As I mentioned before the Stingray is a noble creature who wouldn't harm anybody with out being provoked first.

Well apparently I heard the guy in the boat started talking trash and yelling "GUMP! GUMP!" (which in stingray means "stupid shrimp" referring to bubba-gump shrimp, which was insulting the stingray) and the stingray tried to leave the area but the guy in the boat, his friend, and his granddaughter (who, for no reason, has little arms with 3 fingers on each hand and is hot) starting charging and ramming the stingray with their boat. This angered the stingray causing him to shoot into the air and the rest is history.

    go stingrays

OK, we have now exhausted every possible joke about the Stingray - Pacers connection.

I think we're going to have to whack a dolphin to get things back in order.

Well, I see the mature part of the discussion has begun. You inlanders and your ocean prejudices.

For your information, I've lived in the water my whole life and I've never seen a tuna attack. It's just because of your mammalian stereotypes.

Mammalian stereotypes is right. a few freak occurences and all of a sudden you are with the the inlanders or you are with the Stingrays.

Well, at least the Stingrays can shoot accurately. Two barbs, both right through the heart. They must be named Reggie.

    That is so weird.

These stories can't have a positive effect for "Stingray City" in the Cayman Islands.
I was there about 5 years ago for a week and we went out and played with the stingrays - of course we were told they are very gentle, but I also recall they told not not to touch a certain part of their anatomy (I forget which part) or they could attack.

Our government does the same thing all the time in secret military jails, but you don't hear about it because of the obvious right-wing bias of the media (all of whom, I might point out, are mammals).

In addition, it's worth noting that all of the 9/11 hijackers were mammalian. That's a fact that you don't hear reported on Fox News.

I'm a big Stingray fan, I feel bad that all the Stingrays are getting a bad rap.

I had a pet Stingray for several years and he was as gentle as can be.

    Hilarious.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!
