Default Has this starting five been discussed?

    PG-Marquis
    SG-Granger
    SF-Al
    PF-JO
    C- Hulk

It would be our best defensive unit, IMO.

Tinsley (sigh), Jackson, Granger, Harrington, O'Neal would be my guess.

I don't think this 5 starts, but I do think it will be on the floor together some, and I can see us using this group together in a 4th quarter to finish a game.....which is more important anyway.

I would give that group a shot. Those are my favorite players on the team, but it would require that we force the other team to match up with us. That group could get burned by small, speedy guards....but it could go the other way too....but Granger and Al would have to be on the perimeter, which seems wrong. Not much of a perimeter threat.

I like that group, but I'd be a little concerned about their ability to create good shots. There are few things I like less than stagnant 14 point 4th quarters......

Quis, Jack, DG, Al, JO is my "favorite" line-up. A Tins circa 2004 renaissance could change my mind. Harrison, hopefully, will be a significant contributor this season.

I could see that group playing together well, but I doubt it'll start. 'Quis, IMO, is better in a 2 spot, where he doesn't have to control the ball...and he'd be our best ball-handler out there.

I was thinking more like the last 3 or 4 minutes, already having the lead, for defensive purposes....

Or in an extreme case, if we are behind by a big margin and pressing, trying to scramble and trap alot.....this group wouldn't be bad.

I've tossed it out there a few times... I think we'll see it occasionally.

I really don't think that Granger is quick enough to guard sgs, and I also don't think that Harrington has the lateral quickness to guard sfs on the wing on a regular basis. We may see that line-up for short periods, but I think it will be really rare. Oh, and I think that Harrison is pretty useless...but he is humonhous.

I know for a fact that this lineup would be our best by far. But of course i do not think that this will happen.

    Tinsley
    Granger
    Al
    Jermaine
    Hulkster

This will give us a great all around game epecially on defense. We would have nice size and could penetrate much more easier with Granger at 2 and Al at 3.

But of course i have an awful feeling that Granger is going to get screwed out of a starting spot. I'm sure Carlisle will but Jack at 2 and have Granger come off the bench. Who knows why but that is how it is. Everyone know Granger is the most athletic player on the team and is one of the best also. He definetely deserves to start.

WHO THINKS GRANGER SHOULD START OVER JACK AT THE 2 POSITION?!

    I know I do!

Rick only see Harrison as Oneal's 5 minute a game backup.

I want them at the 4 and 5 but Rick hasn't even given the idea a glance.

Unless Harrison does a 180 I can't consider any lineup he's in as the best defensive lineup.
