Sorry guys, college and all. Hmm, well I voted for Ken for a lynch. Now that we're not doing that, I say we put Soup in office.

I really don't think I'd be a good mayour; I'm struggling to keep up with my current level of involvement in ths game right now. I just don't have as much PD time as I wish I did, I hardly even read the main fourm anymore.

That said, I'll vote for someone. But first I want someone to post the current voting results if they could please, I want to ote for someone with a chance of winning. But my gut instinct would to cast my vote for Mourning as mayor, although that is -not- an official vote for Mourning as of now

    Current votes:

    Mourning - indy0731(4)
    Fool - indy0731(1)
    Bellisimo - indy0731(2)
    SycamoreKen - indy0731(3)
    Shade - Soup(1)
    Pig Nash - Soup(2)

    This gives

    indy0731: 4 votes
    Soup: 2 votes

    Haven't voted yet:

    indy0731
    SoupIsGood
    Hoop
    twscholl
    Anthem
    Rasko

If indy0731 votes for himself, that gives him 5 votes vs. Soup's 2.

Crap, what a mess. indy0731 may not be a wolf, but he is going to hang the wrong people, no doubt. I dont think this game is salvagable at this point.

I vote for SoupIsGood, even though I doubt he can make it.

No, Fool, I'm not voting for myself.

I vote for indy0731, so that he can hang me tomorrow.

Well, should I vote for myself and try to spice things up, or vote for Indy so that we can get on with the rest of the game?

I personally have no problem with Indy being mayor, I always thought he was probably one of the seer/protector until they all died. Plusd hes in the same boaut as I, a froshie at college and short on time.

I'll check back later, and if you guys want a close race, I'll vote for myself. But I'm leaning towards voting for indy.

I wouldn't be so quick to jump to that conclusion. I wanna actually hear people out if I do become mayor. Seeing as this is probably the most crucial point in the game. If I don't hang a wolf me and the rest of the humans would probably be dead. Also if I do a hang a wolf, I am almost certain that I will be eaten the next night. So things aren't looking too awesome at the moment, but I will not back down if I am voted in as mayor. I mean how many drunken college students get elected mayor anyways?

Anthem, Fool and I have proven their humanity according to the above rationale. Belli has also given away his vote to Ty in round 4 (but unfortunately changed it because of the "deadline"). That gives us another human. [...]

Now, which 2 of these are the remaining humans? Let's take a look at their voting behaviour. (I looked it up in the thread. I believe this is all correct.)

    1) Mourning pollardfreek(2)/Karmakillaz(2)/Soup(3)/Gyron(9)/Anthem(3)
    2) Pig Nash Rasko(2)/bellisimo(1)/Soup(2)/Soup(1)/Ken(1)
    9) SoupIsGood Rasko(1)/Rasko(1)/Rasko(1)/Gyron(10)/?
    12) Hoop pollardfreek(6)/None/None/Gyron(6)/?
    14) twscholl pollardfreek(5)/None/Pig Nash(1)/Gyron(5)/?
    15) 0731 pollardfreek(7)/Anthem(2)/Rasko(2)/Gyron(8)/Anthem(1)
    18) SycamoreKen pollardfreek(10)/Karmakillaz(1)/Anthem(2)/Gyron(7)/Anthem(2)

More in particular, let's now see whether they voted for each other.

    1) Mourning voted once for Soup.
    2) Pig Nash voted twice for Soup and has just now voted for Ken.
    14) twscholl voted once for Pig Nash.

    That's all.

If we want the principle that the wolves don't vote for each other (*) to hold, there are two solutions: Mourning and Pig Nash are human, or Soup and Pig Nash are human.

There's an easy way to see this, instead of having to consider all possibilities. The above statements imply that the following couples can't be wolves at the same time: Mourning & Soup, PN & Soup, PN & Ken and PN & twscholl. (couples rule)

Say twscholl's human. Then it is impossible to select 3 wolves out of the other 4 without violating the couples rule.

Thus twscholl's a wolf. That means PN is human. Now Mourning and Soup can't be both wolves, so one of them has to be human. Rasko
The only thing this proves, dear Rasky is that you failed your logic class. You cannot begin with an assumption. You have to begin with known facts. The couples rule only exists if the wolves were not smart enough to throw us off by voting for each other once in ahile. Looking at the stats and the state of the game, it's pretty clear to me that the Wolves are in charge right now. As humans, we are getting our a**es handed to us on a platter. This means the wolves are smart and eliminates the "couples" theory.

That being said. I must cast my vote for Mayor. I must admit that I am no fan of Indy0731's constant accusations. However, I find them more credible than others. I cast my vote for Mayor for Indy0731.

In my mind, Rasky is trying too hard to "logically" prove his humanity. Everyone knows that wolves are driven by the Dionysian, not the Appolonian. In advance, I vote to send Rasky to the gallows.

I won't exclude that the principle (*) has been violated by the wolves, making it possible that out of the list of 7, anyone could be a human.

Looking over the conversation since Rasko posted the vote total, this is how it breaks down:

    Indy:
    Rasko
    Ken
    Indy
    Mourning
    twscholl
    Fool
    Bellisimo

    Soup:
    Shade
    Pig Nash
    Anthem

    No vote:
    Soup
    Hoop

Indy has the votes to become Mayor. Here is how the lynching vote has tallied up thus far:

Rasko: Rasko (I think someone is getting tired of the game, not that I blame him. I'll take the blame for dragging it on.)
    twscholl: Rasko
    Ken: Anthem
    Pig Nash: Ken
    Bellisimo: Mourning
    Fool: Mourning
    Indy: Anthem
    Anthem: Mourning

    Mourning: 3
    Anthem: 2
    Rasko: 2
    Ken: 1

Some of these votes are from before we had the election for mayor. If you want to vote differently, we have until the end of the weekend according to Nat. Stoned.

Since it is mathemtically impossible for me not to become mayor I will accept the nomination. I am reopening the voting for the lynching. All votes from before my acceptance are null and void. I implore my fellow humans to think long and hard on there are votes on who to send to the gallows. I will be listening
