Default Minn. trade (no not Garnett)

Is there anyway we can get Eddie Griffin and Bracey Wright?

yeah we could trade with MIN because they need players like Jeff Foster and Stephen Jackson, but I'm not sure I see why the Pacers would want either of these two

I could see Minnesota needing a player LIKE Foster.. but they definitely wouldn't take on his contract.

And Stephen Jackson? What would he bring to the table that Ricky Davis doesn't? I, for one, think Ricky is even a better player..

Eddie Griffin is a defensive and rebounding machine. He has shot blocking ability and can hit the open three (31% career). I was thinking Bracey cause of shooting but James White would play over him anyways

While EG would be a great fit on the court, off the court he wouldn't be a guy the Pacers want to touch, period.

As for Bracey, he is a chucker but isn't that athletic and versatile player I think Bird is after. I think that if the Pacers really want to add shooting, there are better opitions out there than Bracey Wright.

BTW spreedom, what do you mean Minneosta wouldn't take on Foster's contract? He is one of the fairest payed players in the league, IMO. His contract is easily acceptable.

I think the last thing Minnesota would want is to take on more salary.. especially since it seems like their entire roster is under contract for another 4 years...
