Oh goodie, at least they are taller than the bean plants themselves...unlike deer in the corn.

A friend was picking corn a coupla years back when he jumped a big buck. That buck ran in front of the picker the entire length of the field until they came to the end of the row, at which point the buck just moved over to the next set of rows and again ran in front of the picker going back the other way. Stupid deer wasn't about to leave the shelter of those cornstalks until they got down to the last two rows of corn and it finally bolted. My friend stepped out the door of the picker with a slug gun and neatly dropped the 8 pointer as it ran past the picker.

    True story.

Nah, it was 85 here yesterday. Its not cold outside yet.....

Oh wait, you're not in Charlotte are you?

I just wish it stop ****ing raining. My grass is growing at about 4 inches a day now. I waited 9 days to mow my grass last week. It was, and this is not an exageration, 14-18 inches tall in most spots. My mower is getting a hard core work out this year.

Man do I ever wish I was in Charlotte. I love your state, it is a lifelong goal of my wife and I to move there one day. Specifically to Brunswick County around Holden Beach.

I try to go there every summer for a week. I love it there.

Oh there is nothing I hate more than fall. Have you looked outside? Its grey, damp, murky. I no longer am in school (thank Jesus), but I still hate fall. Its the season of death. Death all around you.

Give me spring and summer anyday. I hate this weather and I hate this season. Were about to enter the time when you don't see the sun until April.

    LONG LIVE SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You definitely need to move far away from Indiana then.

I will also say I can pretty much play golf year round here. That's a huge plus for me.

The funny thing is before I moved here, I had never played golf in my life. 2 years in, some buddy's talked me in to going out and playing and I was hooked. Now if I was to ever move, the golf environment would definitely be thought about in the move factor......

The weather gets pretty hot for about 8 weeks in July and August, but the rest of the year , its very reasonable here. If you have snow, which I do like to see once a year, it lasts about a day or so and gone. The winters hover around 50-60 degrees for the month of January and February with a week or two being in the 30's.

Well I guess I like early summer then. Yeah, March and April are some crappy months. Lots of rain, but I know that when I make it thru that it will something worth waiting for.

Oh and just for geezer, it's almost always sunny around here. We went through a period last year where it was overcast for about 2 weeks here and I swear the whole city was in a state of depression. I tried explaining to people around here they should move to Indiana where you get overcast for several weeks at a time all winter.....

High temps in the 20's is best.

Overlooking a snowy hillside with about a dozen reddish-brown 4-leggd critters out in front of you is kinda special too.

And following a fresh set of prints in about 3 inches of snow around the skirts of a bean field gets the ol' ticker pumpin' pretty good too (not quite as good as a pair of snowie ones poppin' out of a bikini I gotta admit)

My take away from this little picture show is clear.

    Either don't drink.

    Or always drink alone.

I think the Fall air is a little cooler for having watched this stream.

    Thanks buddy.
