Successful Scenario
Due to Indiana, Boston, New York and Denver being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Indiana, Boston, New York and Denver had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

I think there is something in this for all 4 teams.

Indy gets Delonte West whose skills combine well with Marquis. It also sheds some salary in the length of contracts it is recieving. Doesn't help any with bringing the roster numbers down however.

Boston gets to move Wally's contract and brings in some vets to help out their youngsters. Crawford can take up Wally's scoring.

Denver gets to move KMart's epic contract and dodgey knees and gets the outside shooting it badly needs in Wally and Jax.

NY thins out their backcourt some and adds some muscle up forward. They get an expiring contract in Grant to cover for the fact they are taking on some extra salary down the track.
