    Orlando Trade Breakdown

WHY THE PACERS COULD DO THIS:
Turkoglu gives the Pacers a versatile 6'10" four-position player (pg-pf) he is a career 38.8% career 3pt threat (last year slightly over 40%) and he has great ball handling skills. His versatility fits into TPTB's new paradigm. Plus we desperately need a pure shooter... hopefully sarunas will come around and be a steve kerr type player off the bench for us. but meanwhile, we need an outside shooting threat better than SJax.

    POTENTIAL LINEUPS:
    Fast
    PG - J. Tinsley
    SG - M. Daniels
    SF - D. Granger
    PF - H. Turkoglu
    C - J. O'Neal
    Big
    PG - M. Daniels
    SG - H. Turkoglu
    SF - D. Granger
    PF - J. O'Neal
    C - J. Foster / D. Harrison

WHY THE MAGIC COULD DO THIS:
Jackson gives the Magic the SG/SF they need if Grant Hill can't come back from injury. He'd be their #3 option behind Howard and Nelson (w/o Hill in the picture), a role he would probably excell in. They just signed Keith Bogans but he doesn't have a jump shot... without Hill, Jackson and Bogans could compliment each other.

    POTENTIAL LINEUPS:
    Without Hill With Hill
    PG - J. Nelson
    SG - K. Bogans
    SF - S. Jackson
    PF - D. Howard
    C - T. Battie
    With Hill
    PG - J. Nelson
    SG - S. Jackson / K. Bogans
    SF - G. Hill
    PF - D. Howard
    C - T. Battie

SIDE NOTE... I really wanted to include Tinsley and Carlos Arroyo on this deal but I doubt Orlando would consider it. They get more of a scorer and playmaker but with Nelson there and Tinsley's contract...no chance.

Id do this for the simple fact it moves Steven Jackson out of Indiana which is what i think 90% of the fans would love to see. I think he's just about wore out his welcome

We had Hedo in the Brad Miller trade, but we waived him.So he actually was a pacer for a few hours.

I'd do it and send them a gift basket. Hedo would have to play SG, though.

I'm not sure how well Hedo could be a full time 2, but I think he'd be at least average at it. I'd take this trade.

Maybe use him as 6th man, wonder how a Tinsley/Daniels backcourt would be.

I'd love to swap Jackson for Hedo but I don't see why Orlando would.
