(Before Kegboy has a stroke thinking I actually liked them it was my freaky college roommate who did. As for me I liked Country before Country was cool.)

Veteran Austin Croshere, the longest-tenured Pacers player on the roster, has proven reliable when called upon, invariably ready to step in regardless of the circumstance.

    That's a great movie - except for Bowie's codpiece.

JC was still a hottie back then.

Part of the Trilogy of GREAT movies - Labyrinth, TPB and MP&THG. I have all three.

Now if SOAP can just measure up.

I have always believed, and will stand by it until I die, that the '80s produced nothing good but my generation - and even that is in doubt. It's basically down to me.

Though, the '80s did have this one thing going for them

    Ferris Bueller's Day Off

In 1930, the Republican-controlled House of Representatives, in an effort to alleviate the effects of the... Anyone? Anyone?...

The Great Depression, passed the... Anyone? Anyone?

The tariff bill? The Hawley-Smoot Tariff Act? Which, anyone? Raised or lowered?...

Raised tariffs, in an effort to collect more revenue for the federal government. Did it work? Anyone? Anyone know the effects?

It did not work, and the United States sank deeper into the Great Depression. Today we have a similar debate over this. Anyone know what this is? Class? Anyone? Anyone? Anyone seen this before?

The Laffer Curve. Anyone know what this says?

It says that at this point on the revenue curve, you will get exactly the same amount of revenue as at this point. This is very controversial. Does anyone know what Vice President Bush called this in 1980? Anyone?

    Something-d-o-o economics.

    "Voodoo" economics.

Ted Striker: Surely you can't be serious.
Rumack: I am serious... and don't call me Shirley.

    ---

Rumack: What was it we had for dinner tonight?
Elaine Dickinson: Well, we had a choice of steak or fish.
Rumack: Yes, yes, I remember, I had lasagna.

    ----

Controller: I know but this guy has no flying experience at all. He's a menace to himself and everything else in the air... yes, birds too.

    ----

Ted Striker: My orders came through. My squadron ships out tomorrow. We're bombing the storage depots at Daiquiri at 1800 hours. We're coming in from the north, below their radar.
Elaine Dickinson: When will you be back?
Ted Striker: I can't tell you that. It's classified.
