Is it true you can tell a womans age by the number of rings on her finger?

I don't know about age but you can definitely tell the number of prostate exams.

I usually take their word for it initially.

I've found that the first date isn't the best time to break out the saw.

Unless you picked her up at a truck stop.

$61 dollars ...that'd almost pay for the gas it took me to drive down there.

The client sets the price, I just list em...they NEVER listen to the "expert". And no...I meant 15.21 acres....well drilled and high pressure gas line nearby. >500 ft road frontage heavily wooded. Same dadburn client just had me list a southside double for about 17000 over what I told her it would bring (which was a stretch in the first place).

That could be good for you Geezer.

Perhaps she'll even ride in the back of your truck.

    And you can rock on.

Beautiful day, sun's shining - and I'm stuck inside all day.

Well - not ALL day - just every couple of hours.

Making jerky for the fall season.

Got the fans running full blast, oven door's cracked open, my dog's afraid to go into the kitchen ...

    Life is good.

You make jerky for an entire season in one day?

You must make a lot of jerky.

Jerky is a word that sounds funnier the more you think about it.

    Three days actually. Ten roasts.

If you're going to create an atmosphere where you sneeze & your eyes water every time you walk into the kitchen, might as well go for it - that's gonna stick around for a couple of days anyway no matter how many fans you have running.

My dog must think this is the best weekend of her life - all the fat scraps or that chunk right at the end you can't quite get cut thin enough go to her. Of course she runs through the kitchen whining. That may ease off - the first three roasts go into the "Jerky of Death." After that I ease off the jabenero's in the marinade.

The only real problem - most of the time I cook I'm drinking beer. But with jerky I'd end up cutting a finger off.

Well, batch number 2's due to be turned - time to break out the kerosene-soaked handkerchief.

If we run across a slab of jerky with bone we'll know you may be missing a digit.

    Sounds like quite the production.

I would really like to git a good jerky recipe...maybe even watch someone making good jerky. Mine always tastes like rancid beef.

Reminds me....did I ever tell ya that we couldn't eat the meat from my Boone and Crockett 13 pointer? He had an abcess (sp) under the hide on his gut. It ruptured while removing the hide and opozed yellow-green puss down over all the carcuss. State inspectors office recommended not eating it

Climbers are pretty safe but I agree it's a hastle to pack them in and out.

I use strap on stands with screw in hooks to climb myself.

You can get about anything you want in a stand these days. I've seen some ladder stands that look really comforatable.

Hey Geez, I'm supposing you hunt with a bow because thats what you learned on back before Gun powder was invented?

    j/k...

I haven't been deer hunting since college. I love the meat, just hated cleaning the damn things. Don't even know if i'd remember how now. I always had my grandfather there to help me along....

I was really upset when I figured out smokeless powder doesn't explode when you stick a fuse in it.
