Default Jermaine and Granger for Allen and Lewis?

I don't know if I'd do it, but it sure would be interesting.

Jermaine/Granger/Jackson works for Lewis/Allen. Assuming we sign Al, we'd have:

    D.Harrison
    A.Harrington
    R.Lewis
    R.Allen
    J.Tinsley

With Foster, X, Daniels, and Saras off the bench.

    Thoughts?
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

As much as I'd hate to give up Granger and J.O., I'd think real hard and probably do this one. Then again, I'd rather find a way to have Al traded to Seattle so we can keep J.O., because I think he'd be a better player to pair with Allen & Lewis than Al would be.

I think Al combined with Lewis and Allen would be incredible. If Tinsley stayed healthy that would be a championship contender.

hhmm...i'd rather not do this deal

i'd personally rather have Granger over Rashard

...and because of that, JO and Sjax is too much for Allen

No way would I do this.

Lewis is in the last year of his contract so could leave us with effectively nothing for Granger. I like Allen and all, but trading JO for him...nah.

The Lewis/Allen combo did a great job of getting Seattle into the playoffs..... and I'm sure they are championship bound this year.

Well they don't exactly have a strong consistent supporting cast. The coaching is a question too.

if we could trade Sjax/Jo/Al then i would do that because holding onto Granger is a prime concern for me

I would do JO/SJax for Allen/Shard. I dunno if the Sonics would but a lineup with

    Tins
    Ray
    Shard
    Al
    Foster

    with a bench of
    Danny G
    Quis
    DH
    Runi

That lineup would kill in a fast paced offense.
